Was with a bit of amusement that I saw the Republicans in here has a thread that we are supposed to stay out of (see Republican Treehouse)....guess they feel a need to have secret meetings, and might even have a secret handshake to get through the door, so thought those of us on the side of reason and intellect should have our own little hide-away as it were. So, kick your shoes off, pour yourself a drink and lets discuss the issues.

Me, too! I also like how Kerry connects to young people my age too. That means a lot to me that he cares about us too. Has anybody seen Bush do that? And I've also seen Kerry connect with other racies too. Like on his site on one video he's talking to a little black girl who won a pagent in her area and it's so cute! He's asking her how school is and about what she did to win the pagent and stuff and then took a picture and even talked a little bit more to her. It was cute. XOXO.

"However I must also take you to task on this:

<>

First of all, I heard no whining but a very important point. "

I wa referring to the poster who posted "I knew John McCain. Kerry is no John McCain" or whatever he said. Sorry for the confusion.

Yeah....the guy sure can't think on his feet that's for sure (that's OK I guess, he pays enough people to do his thinking for him and it appears to be working for him....scary thought). It's not the "uhs" that bother me though, it's the total lack of insight and the repetitive nature of what he says.

The fact that his vocabulary is extremly tiny makes it rather boring too after a while. I guess they don't want to put too many different words in his speeches as he appears to be unfamiliar with them.

Do keep in mind, that the majority of American voters DID NOT VOTE FOR BUSH in the 2000 election, and right now things are shaping up where it could actually still happen again, and yet we would find ourselves of watching him be put back into the Whitehouse by winning the electorial college vote. I know, odd that a man can win the election and lose the Whitehouse, but that is America.

What I am hoping for, is Kerry has been a DARK HORSE in every election he has ever been in, pulling out a victory as it were in the closing hours of the race...lets hope he does it this time around, finds his stride in time and takes the Whitehouse away from that mad man.

"The president has gone from mission accomplished to mission miscalculated to mission impossible on the war on terror," said Phil Singer, a spokesman for Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites).

"George Bush (news - web sites) might be able to read a speech saying we can win the war on terror, but as we saw (Monday), he's clearly got real doubts about his ability to do so, and with good reason."

No problemo....it allowed me to reiterate (and expand on) what I thought to be an important point in any case.
