ALL BUSH SUPPORTERS READ THIS

I blagged this from a War On Terror Ivillage board:

'In his memoirs, "A World Transformed," written five years ago, George Bush Sr. wrote the following to explain why he didn't go after Saddam Hussein at the end of the Gulf War.

"Trying to eliminate Saddam...would have incurred incalculable human

and political costs. Apprehending him was probably impossible.... We

would have been forced to occupy Baghdad and, in effect, rule Iraq....

There was no viable "exit strategy" we could see, violating another of

our principles. Furthermore, we had been consciously trying to set a

pattern for handling aggression in the post-Cold War world. Going in

and occupying Iraq, thus unilaterally exceeding the United Nations'

mandate, would have destroyed the precedent of international response

to aggression that we hoped to establish. Had we gone the invasion

route, the United States could conceivably still be an occupying power

in a bitterly hostile land."

If only his son could read.'

I repeat cl-wrhen, respectfully,

If electing Sen. John Kerry is sending a message of weakness to terrorists in your opinion, what message did President Bush give to said same terrorists by admitting on television to Matt Lauer that he did not think "you" could win a war on terrorism?

I await your considered response.

What is it going to take for you to see that if you are a Christian or a Jew that me and you have the same GOD?? What is it going to take for you to see that I do not accept Bush's mission Iraq? Sorry if you don't like the definition of a terrorist, but I got that from the governments website. What exactly is it that you disagree with in my post? You do not like the fact that there could be other terrorists in the world besides al-quaida? That there are terrorists out there that are not of the Muslim faith? I truly do not understand you. Everything you have said HAS happened before, and not becuase of a Muslim.

Terrorism is the unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives. --FBI Definition

this is added...

Indeed, a resurgence in gang activity was one of the main reasons Los Angeles' homicide rate rose 51% in three years, making it the murder capital of the U.S. in 2002 with 658 killings.

Now that was only one city in one year. Sorry, but I beleive that Americans kill each other more than any muslim terrorist will ever do.

You & I may have the same god, but I do not share a god with those terrorists. Most of the Muslims I've heard speak have said they don't either (and I think you've said the same).

What is problematic, to me, is your soft defenses & excuses for Al Queda

You are right, I see no difference because the end is the same.... death of innocent people. Why do you feel important for me to condem or not condem anyone? Is it going to change anything? Do you think the terrorists of al-quaida will stop and transform becuase I condem publicaly to you what they do is wrong? Wow, you give me so much importance. I know I was an awesome person with a power over those around me, but to think I alone can stop al-quaida...Thank you.

It is none of your business who I feel is more of an immediate threat to me and my family. The end of Western civilization?? Are we being a drama queen or what today? I have said before and I will say it now, I am more terrified of the person down the street, than I am of a terrorist attack. The latter is not a common occurence where as the former is an every day reality.

But daily my resolve to listen to you blab on is wearing thin. I have tried to always give you the benefit of the doubt, but lately you have proved me wrong in this.

No, it's Senator John Edwards who channeled the feelings and thoughts of unborn children in the courtroom:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/functions/print.php?StoryID=20040816-011234-1949r

This began as a refutation to Donna, who told us that unborn children have no thoughts and feelings and she told us to vote for Kerry, whose VP candidate believes that unborn children have thoughts and feelings.

The hypocrisy of leftists rarely ceases to amaze me.

<<"So let's go to war because someone MIGHT have WMDs? Oh that's rich! And meanwhile let's ignore where the terrorist really were and let's ignore where the WMDs really ARE! Korea, China, Iran, for starters.">>.....

Donna folds and leaves whenever confronted with the inconsistencies of her rants.

She has yet to respond to any of my rebuttals. She just posts her hatred with the same leftist buzzwords and Dan Rather quotes on other threads until called on it again and the cycle continues.

Thank God for GW Bush.

First off you have no right at all to assume that I agree with the actions of what people have done, whether they are muslim or not. Secondly it is wise not to believe every word that you read that comes from Renee's mouth. Thirdly if you have been here long enough, you would know how I feel on this situation. I do not have to at every persons whim denounce what has been done. I have done so many times and I quit doing it.

Fourthly, what is wrong with you as I am trying to understand where this came from? Do you not have your own mind to think or is it easier to just believe what someone tells you as fact?
