ALL BUSH SUPPORTERS READ THIS

I blagged this from a War On Terror Ivillage board:

'In his memoirs, "A World Transformed," written five years ago, George Bush Sr. wrote the following to explain why he didn't go after Saddam Hussein at the end of the Gulf War.

"Trying to eliminate Saddam...would have incurred incalculable human

and political costs. Apprehending him was probably impossible.... We

would have been forced to occupy Baghdad and, in effect, rule Iraq....

There was no viable "exit strategy" we could see, violating another of

our principles. Furthermore, we had been consciously trying to set a

pattern for handling aggression in the post-Cold War world. Going in

and occupying Iraq, thus unilaterally exceeding the United Nations'

mandate, would have destroyed the precedent of international response

to aggression that we hoped to establish. Had we gone the invasion

route, the United States could conceivably still be an occupying power

in a bitterly hostile land."

If only his son could read.'

""George W. Bush would have won a hand count of Florida's disputed ballots if the standard advocated by Al Gore had been used, the first full study of the ballots reveals. Bush would have won by 1,665 votes — more than triple his official 537-vote margin — if every dimple, hanging chad and mark on the ballots had been counted as votes, a USA TODAY/Miami Herald/Knight Ridder study shows. The study is the first comprehensive review of the 61,195 "undervote" ballots that were at the center of Florida's disputed presidential election. ""

All of the studies that have been conducted since the election by the liberal media have reached the same conclusion, Bush won Florida.

Here's some more about it: http://www.florida2000election.com/facts.htm

I will second that. They can dish it out, but when it comes time for them to take it, they tattle. (Ok, not THEY, because that insinuates that ALL reps on this board do it, but SOME)

No, you don't get it. Our intelligence DID know there were no WMDs. That is the whole point. They had that information and ignored it.

1. Unborn children have no thoughts and feelings;
2. Vote for John Edwards, who made a career and millions of dollars channeling the thoughts and feelings of unborn children.

What does this have to do with anything? As I have said before. I really get tired of saying the same things again and getting the same tired old responses. And as I have said before I see no point in discussing abortion or pro choice issues with you since neither of us will be changing our minds. Your statements above are meaningless to me in any context, don't you get that YET!!!???

The summarys you posted do not take into account other controversal factors, eg. people purged from voting lists 'in error' in Florids in 2000.

Does the historic chaos sorrounding the 2000 election really matter in the 2004 election?

It serves as a reminder that vigilence is necessary in this 2004 election to ensure all who are entitled to vote can excercise their rights and have their votes counted.

Well now we don't want to be insinuating anything that might wound their little heads do we?

Sorry for the sarcasm but I couldn't resist.

I am so wondering what you are reading. I guarantee you it is not the 911 Report or any of the many books I have rad written by mostly Republicans who were there. What about Wilson's report?

A link or two or at least a quote would be nice.

I don't recall the 9-11

I think you have been around long enough to know you can not force anyone under threats of reporting a violation, that they must answer you. Think what you like, report if you like, I can not stop you and I will not.
