Bush Opens a Double-Digit Lead!
| Fri, 09-03-2004 - 3:46pm |
New York: For the first time since the Presidential race became a two person contest last spring, there is a clear leader, the latest TIME poll shows. If the 2004 election for President were held today, 52% of likely voters surveyed would vote for President George W. Bush, 41% would vote for Democratic nominee John Kerry, and 3% would vote for Ralph Nader, according to a new TIME poll conducted from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2. Poll results are available on TIME.com and will appear in the upcoming issue of TIME magazine, on newsstands Monday, Sept. 6.

As opposed to the the DNC's badly executed convention constructed mainly in another era (over decades ago), in another country (Vietnam)

I like your tagline. :D
But, of course!
I find this statement most revealing. :)
Aren't they the ones who reported that the folks at the RNC booed when GWB wished Clinton the best on his surgery? The original article is below along with the revised story.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Media Bias alert! Is willing to lie to effect negative reaction for the RNC. Kinda like the NYT and it's propensity for lying.
What did that post have to do with Bush's double digit lead?
Still don't have an answer either.
Kerry likes to run on his service in Vietnam, which has brought about the attacks on what he did upon his return from Vietnam, which he doesnt like, and tries to run from these attacks.
Kerry keeps bringing Vietnam to the forefront of the campaign, which brings what he said after returning home to the forefront as well.
This is my point, and yes, Kerry did serve in Vietnam for 16 months, and I honor him for that. I feel what he did after returning home was not called for, especially after learning that what he was saying was being used against the many POW's still in Vietnam. I guess he really didnt care too much about them, and kept on spouting off, giving the NVA more to use against our POW's. This is why the Swift Vets and many other Veteran groups are so mad with Kerry. Also, he has yet to either back down from his statements, or even attempt to offer an apology to the many veterans who's record and service he tarnished with his blanket statements.
Regarding the bounces to which you refered. Kerry got 2 or 3 points. It seems like Bush got between 7 and 10. Big difference.
Newsweek detects Bush bounce as well.

He defends John Kerry.
He criticised the Swiftboat ads and called on Bush to do the same.
How is McCain wrong in his support of Kerry?
He was a prisoner of war in Vietnam.
You and I and George W Bush were not.
