New York: For the first time since the Presidential race became a two person contest last spring, there is a clear leader, the latest TIME poll shows. If the 2004 election for President were held today, 52% of likely voters surveyed would vote for President George W. Bush, 41% would vote for Democratic nominee John Kerry, and 3% would vote for Ralph Nader, according to a new TIME poll conducted from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2. Poll results are available on TIME.com and will appear in the upcoming issue of TIME magazine, on newsstands Monday, Sept. 6.

This isn't a "story" from "handlers." It's my opinion based on reading his journal entry. That you keep trying to use this passage as "proof" in your argument is ridiculous.
Now that you'll quit posting it, I'll admit to being just a little glad.

If we had a contest for Miss Congeniality - you'd probably crown yourself the winner lol!
Another bouquet of stinkweed for patting yourself on the back for being so polite immediately preceding the phrase mindless drivel...
I think the ticket may be Giuliani / McCain or the reverse.
I also noticed something else.....Look at each of the last 5 Presidents on the day they took office, and then the day they left office.
That job severely ages people. Look at Carter, GHW Bush, Clinton and GW Bush (Reagan was already fairly old when he took office. Each one looks like they have aged more than twice the amount of years they have served in office.
