MTV's Choose or Lose

Did anybody see this last night? It was pretty good and you could tell they weren't biased or for one over the other etc. One thing that they reported was how Bush has these q&a's at some more smaller campaign stops and the reporter said that only republicans were allowed to ask question's. I thought that was really unfair and fishy personally cause what if someone who wasn't sure yet or who was a democrat and had a great question for him? Also the reporter said that Bush wasn't going to be interviewed on camera but Kerry did even though they both have super busy schedules. The reporter (his name is Giden Yago and he's one of the MTV VJ's who gets used a lot in specials and whatnot) also interviewed McCain and he asked a question about Kerry and Mr. McCain said that he wasn't there to bash Kerry but to support Bush and I thought that was adult of him cause he could have easily said something offensive to hurt Kerry I'm sure like Bush has done. They also had a poll and said the main thing that young adults are more interested in is the economy and jobs and the war was at the very bottom. I've noticed Bush talks a lot about the 9/11 event to remind people (like they haven't forgotten heh heh) and badmouthing Kerry. And I personally find it kinda funny in a way how Bush says people in Hollywood's votes don't count (basically that's what I'm getting) but yet they have Arnold S. who is a big-time Hollywood actor. Oh and I'm sure MTV will reair the special. They're known for reruns. XOXO.

Thanks for the correction of my run on, did not know that, I was being graded here. And sorry to say anything that offended you, but MTV has come along way from the days of videos. Like I said before, you should be proud that the 18-25 year olds are at least trying to learn something about what is going on in our world. The younger voter is the group that did not vote in the last election, So if any person young or old, does watch what ever and gets some knowledge, and make an informed educational choice I am all for that. Just because my chioce to watch something that goes against what you watch, does not give you the right to suggest that I do not read. Her are some reading suggestion for you, Where the right went wrong by pat buchannon, anything by al frankin,

when you ride alone you ride with osoma bill maher, john kerry i cannot remember the author, it take a villlage hillary clinton, just a few that we have read in school,oh and my fav Bushwacked, also a very good fiction book by the swift boat vets, and how about the color purple to add a little tolerence or schindlers list. thanks for your kind remarks!

This is pointless. You want me to praise you for calling yourself informed when you read (or are required to at school) liberal garbage and when I merely suggest other reading options call ME closed minded?!? Huh. That makes complete sense!

And yes, You are being graded by everyone who reads and posts here. Subject/verb agreement and proper use of syntax and language tells a lot about a person and their intelligence. I appreciate your interest in this election, but you really aren't doing "your side" any favors. Just a thought.

And I'm sorry, in advance if you think I am being *mean* for pointing these things out to you. Constructive criticism is never welcomed by youngsters like yourself.LOL

So not watching MTV makes one closed-minded? Does not watching Fox News make one closed-minded? You know what they say, some people want you to keep your mind "open" so that they can throw their garbage in there.

I would not be so sure about that. :-) Come back in 15 years and tell us where you stand then.

I agree. The program was very unbiased. They showed the reporter following both Kerry and Bush and he just talked to various young college kids who were voting and asked them question's at the respective party conventions. XOXO.
