Too bad we didn't have an Arkansans for Truth to tell us all about Clinton's illegal activities while he was governor of Arkansas.

I think it is about time something has been said. Did you hear that MM is trying to get his movie Farenheight 911 onto tv the nite before the election? I wonder if that would have any influence on people's vote? Or would it be just those that still was undecided at that time?

Script for Ad Featuring Alabama Air Guard Veteran Lieutenant Bob Mintz

Opens with text: Was George W. Bush AWOL in Alabama?

Visual: Bob Mintz sitting in front of an American flag.

Mintz: "I heard George W. Bush get up there and say, 'I served in the 187th Air National Guard in Montgomery, Alabama.'"

"I said, 'Really, that was my unit? And I don’t remember seeing you there.' So I called my friends and said, 'Did you know that George Bush served in our unit?' and everyone said, 'No I never saw him there.'"

Text: Tell us whom you served with, Mr. President.

Mintz: "It would be impossible to be unseen in a unit of that size."

Text: George Bush has some explaining to do.

Voice over and text: Texans for Truth is responsible for this advertisement.

And your point is? Mine was simply that even if there *were* a group called Arkansans For Truth, the liberals and other Clinton supporters would still give him the benefit of the doubt .... even with his entire slimy history laid out before them. But it's OK when it's Texans doing it to Bush. Kind of a double standard if you ask me.

I think it would be great if they played the movie. But I am pessimistic. The media (which for some reason people still think is "liberal" even though it hasn't been so in about 50 years) tends to pander to the Replublican agenda. Why is it that they are always putting Bush and Cheney quotes on the front page and we never hear a peep out of Kerry or Edwards? It is the media's choice. For example, look at the headlines today. They quote Cheney saying that the country would have a terrorist attack for sure if Kerry were elected. Such propaganda! Why does the media give him voice? It is not that Kerry and Edwards are not campaigning it is just that the media tends to ignore them.

Have you see "Outfoxed?" It is quite excellent. http://www.outfoxed.org/

Sorry you were too slow to think of it during the 90's, but by all means get up and start the "Arkansas for Truth" right away!!! Perhaps it will help in the future! :-)

By giving the benefit of the doubt, it usually goes on both sides of the political party. I thought in this country you are innocent until proven guilty? But I suppoese that just means if your a republican. If you are a democrat you are automatically guilty until proven innocent.. :-)

You want double standards? How about

- $50 million spent on the Monica affair

- $3 million spent on the September 11th Commission

Hmmm, what's more important for the security of the American people. The death of 3,000 innocent people or who Bill Clinton sleeps with?

No, I'm not from Arkansas (have talked to plenty of folks who are, though) so it wouldn't have been me.

As for the rest of your post, I'm not sure what it has to do with anything. Sorry.

It's funny how when sometimes something cuts too close to the bone the spectre of Clinton gets raised? He's out of office now and has been for some time....get over it.

If I had a nickel for everytime a Bush supporter backed into a corner raised the name of Clinton (when the subject has absolutely nothing to do with Clinton) I'd be as rich as....as rich as....Michael Moore!!!
