Hillary Clinton and Muslims

When Abdurahman Alamoudi, friend and sometime adviser on Islamic affairs to Hillary Rodham Clinton, stood before a Muslim crowd in Lafayette Park across from the White House this week and passionately declared his support for the terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah, he was revealing the true face of "moderate" Islam. He was also revealing the blindness, or rather the willful complicity, of America's political elites, particularly the Clintons, who have welcomed these Islamic "moderates" into our midst and helped raise them to important positions of influence in American life.

The reason I haven't posted here in the past little while is that I have found that the tone of the posts overall are becomming more inflammatory and intolerant and frankly it's giving me a headache. Almost all of the arguments (regardless of the title of the threads) end up discussing the same thing and I've gone that circular route ad nauseum.

I have never said at ANY point that your sources were untrue and just to get nit-picky, there was no evidence of any source in your "pseudo-rebuttal" that I was responding to. It wasn't my intention to rebutt anything you've written (I actually don't see a point in it). In fact, if you were to read my post carefully you would see that I partly agree with you because I said "hatred and intolerance is a poor platform for anyone". This goes both ways - Democrats and Republicans or whatever. My post was anything but childish. To my mind one example of childishness is bringing up another poster's name (who hasn't even contributed to this particular thread) and gossiping about them behind their back. I'm also curious (since you mentioned my emotional response)....do you think that all of your posts are bereft of emotion?
Nothing will bring me out of lurk mode faster than a person who does not practice what they preach.
How'd I do this time? Do I get better marks in the "attempted condescension" department? I've always been one to try and improve my grades.
;o)
Oh and you could put me into "IgnoreLand" if you wish but I'm not too sure how mature that would be either.

I understand, even tho I do not agree with you, why you think Kerry is a liar & a traitor. I don't understand why you think of him as a deserter???
Here's proof of his lying desertion and treason (hint look carefully at the dates) -- from Kerry's own words and record:
(How many times do I have to post this?)
*********************************************
On December 11, 1968, John Kerry wrote in his journal:
"They pulled away from the pier at Cat Lo with spirits high, feeling satisfied with the way things were going for them. They had no lust for battle, but they also were were not afraid. A cocky feeling of invincibility accompanied us up the Long Tau shipping channel because we hadn't been shot at yet, and Americans at war who haven't been shot at are allowed to be cocky."
From Kerry's service record:
December 2, 1968: Kerry experiences first intense combat; receives first combat related injury.
*****
Kerry lied in his self-reported first purple heart. He lied in order to tally 3 purple hearts to get out early. His tour with Jan Fonda caused grief and suffering to his imprisoned comrades and gave support to this country's enemies.
Kerry is a liar, deserter, and a traitor.
That's a capital offense.
I'll still settle for his withdrawal and/or humiliating defeat on Nov. 2.
