BUSH IS EVIL

After reading all these posts, its seems fruitless to even argue with eachother. Bush is just plain evil. That's it. He will be remembered in 100 years (if he doesn't destroy the world before then) as a terrible person, like Pinnochet, Stalin, etc. There is no arguing. He is causing misery and heartache to too many people to ignore this fact.

Bush just wants to start a holy war. And the fundamentalist Muslims want to keep him in power so the war can begin.

>> Have any of them lost 3,000 in one day? <<

Tragically, some have lost more than that.

After 911 most of the world was in mourning along with Americans.

Many countries were eager and willing to join the USA in combating terrorist networks around the globe. Troops and equipment were deployed into Afghanistan to help US forces remove the Taliban, locate al quada camps, and help secure the country.

They are still there today.

The neocons took that international resolve and support and squandered it to a large degree.

In their rush to pursue an invasion of Iraq for a political agenda, they mislead the American public and the world at large.

America needs to mend fences with allies.

World opinion is decidedly against Bush and his neocon agenda, and so are and millions and millions of Americans.

The international fight against terrorists needs an international approach as well as a domestic one.

I guess to some people the "idle rich" means "anyone who actually pays federal income taxes" because those are the people who benefitted from the Bush tax cut, as well as the millions who are now employed due to the tax cuts bringing us out of a recession.

Wait, what happened to that old separation of church and state you all keep screaming about? You now want the government to tell churches what they may allow and what they may not allow? We can't say "under God" in the pledge of allegiance, but we CAN pass special laws that apply only to churches. Interesting.

That's free enterprise-people who make a lot of money for their employers, earn a lot of money. Anyway, it's not like someone can waltz into Merrill Lynch and decide to "sit on their ass" and tell other people what to do all day-these people have worked hard their entire lives, earning good grades, getting into good colleges, many of them paying their way through school to make something of themselves. They have every right to every penny they earn. Why should they be forced to hand it over to those who don't have the same drive, ambition and intelligence they do? That's called communism, and it's a proven failure.

Hey DJIE this is not for you but for everyone. If these people do not represent the world, then who does? Is it the leaders of their respective countries? Is it the loudest ones? I just would like to know when we speak or hear of the world, who is it that is doing the speaking? Take the U.S. for instance, there are many different voices that speak for us. So who is the true spokesperson? Does anyone feel the insurgents are the spokespeople for Iraq, or is it the children, the army, the poor?

Would just like to hear what others have to say about this, becuase we can't debate it until we have established perimeters.

Sorry DJIE again not just for you but to everyone. I believe that everyone has self serving interests on becoming rich. If they didn't they would not work as much as they do. So for people to try and belittle those who are rich I think is just out of jealousy. I would like to see a show of hands on how many people play the lottery in hopes of winnning it big.

I will tell you this honestly, if I was rich my son would have all the advantages I could give him. If I could get him out of serving in the army, I would if it came to that. But this is my selfish side, nothing comes before my son. My money is not for me, all of it is for my family- my mother, my son, my sister and nephews. They are recieving a huge chunk of my check just so they can have a better life. The rest I am saving for a later date.

Now I also beleive that the wealthy should have a moral duty to those who are not as fortunate. I could not imagine having all this money, and not helping those who are i need. As they say, you can't take it with you when you die. But I also beleive, it is good to have these people and use them for a goal to achieve. But this is the difference between me and them....I could not sleep knowing I have too much and others have too little. I am not a miser nor am I crude when it comes to helping.

We all want to be on top, be the ones that people look up to and envy, however only a very few of us ever make it.

What???? You are kidding right?? You really need to care about what the other people think. They are obviously not attacking us becuase they have nothing better to do. It was also said somewhere here, they were not attacking us because of religion. Guaranteed the attacks on U.S. soil are more probable when the "rest of the world" hates Bush. But I guess that doesn't matter to you..

Maybe we should let the individual churches themselves decide whether or not they want to allow guns in? Bush's legislation gives them the CHOICE (I thought you liberals liked choice, or is that only for abortion?), Gore's would impose his personal point of view on them regardless of what they wanted. This is TEXAS we're talking about, not San Francisco. People in Texas like their guns, so why don't we just let them handle it?

Wow, talk about being bitter, jealous, and offensive.

<

Rich people, for the most part, don't do much for making money. Stock traders, financial analysts, company CEOs. They jsut sit on their asses letting other people do the real work!>>

Like I said, if this is your belief about rich people, you can count on yourself NEVER being rich, because not only don't you have the faintest idea of what real rich people are like, you also have an unreasonable bitterness toward them as though wealth is something beyond YOUR capabilities and rich people somehow get rich by "hogging" and stealing resources that would otherwise belong to you. No one ever said that ONLY millionaires work hard, but becoming rich involves much more than just being tired at the end of the work day. But if you think that all these worthless professions like stock traders, financial analysts, etc. don't do any hard work, then why on Earth are you still working hard? If all you have to do to be rich is sit on your ass while other people do the "real" work, then why don't you start doing that? The money should just come rolling in, then, right? Just waltz right into a big company headquarters and tell them you're ready to sit on your ass, prop up your feet, steal from the workers, and abuse your hardworking secretary. I bet they'll install you as CEO immediately. Go ahead and try it! It will be fun!

Since you seem to think that rich people are all greedy, lazy scum, I certainly hope you're not going to school so you can get a well-paying job. You're going to school so that you can save the world from all the evil rich people, right?

Yes, I guess that's why there haven't been any attacks on U.S. soil since 9/11. And if Bush is the reason for the attacks and the terrorists' hatred of us, then what was their reason for attacking before 2001? They must have hated Clinton, too.

Maybe you'd like to craft our foreign policy around butt-kissing the rest of the world and making sure they grant permission before we do anything, but thank God Bush doesn't.
