BUSH IS EVIL

After reading all these posts, its seems fruitless to even argue with eachother. Bush is just plain evil. That's it. He will be remembered in 100 years (if he doesn't destroy the world before then) as a terrible person, like Pinnochet, Stalin, etc. There is no arguing. He is causing misery and heartache to too many people to ignore this fact.

Bush just wants to start a holy war. And the fundamentalist Muslims want to keep him in power so the war can begin.

Thank You ferrin, you are right on the mark, and while politically I may agree with someone, I think it is never ok to say that someone does not deserve the quality of life they have had, especially if they worked for it and one can never assume that about someone else. I for one, no matter how much money I had, would own a pair of hundered dollar nikes. But that is me. It does not make me more deserving because I am not well off. You are so right and I apologise for not speaking up the minute I read that first post from nisa77, I may agree on some things, but want it known that I am not on board with the judgements. thanks for reading

lets not judge others that way, because then we are just as bad as the ones that say we are a bunch of bleeding heart liberals who dont want to work for our money. I hate the judgements, and I do think they are unfair. The person you are talking about might rescue you from a fire one day. It is not only lefties that do good things. (though we are a lot smarter);)

Oh my goodness! I didn't intend for you to do all that work. I just thought a brief response would be appropriate. But I see even that is too much to expect.

< And sorry, too, that I don't have time to respond to every little detail in your post and others'. I have a life outside of this message board, which means I don't have time to type screeds that would take up several pages and spend hours tracking down "links" on the Web. I'm glad others do, though. Keep up the good work! >

For someone that seems to be intelligent, as you do, you seem to have been taken in by what the media reports on the situation were.

Hussein only seemed to begin to cooperate when our troops were ready to remove him from power. Hans Blix himself said that Iraq did not cooperate the way they were supposed to, and it doesnt excuse 11 years of failure to adhere to the cease fire agreements.

And you miss the point once again. They NEVER FOUND ANY WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS OR CHEMICAL WEAPONS.

Sondra, I think there's a big difference between giving out very specific intelligence-related info (which I don't have anyway) and saying something in general (i.e., I've talked to people who have information, and they say that the war in Iraq was not a mistake), which is all I said in the first place. Please show me what I said that could possibly compromise our national security! If you think I would actually do something like that you greatly underestimate my integrity.
