BUSH IS EVIL

After reading all these posts, its seems fruitless to even argue with eachother. Bush is just plain evil. That's it. He will be remembered in 100 years (if he doesn't destroy the world before then) as a terrible person, like Pinnochet, Stalin, etc. There is no arguing. He is causing misery and heartache to too many people to ignore this fact.

Bush just wants to start a holy war. And the fundamentalist Muslims want to keep him in power so the war can begin.

Clinton was not the only one in the room when he said told the new administration about the threat. Who cares who he was having sex with? I care about the lies told that cost over a thousand lives. Now that is treasonous.

It goes both ways, you will also believe anything anti-Kerry, because it suits YOUR agenda. Seems like any book, movie, article, etc that dares to suggest Bush may have made a mistake or two is "discounted as false", and "all lies!" And yet, the Swift Boat Veterans, for example, some of whom have also been discredited, are taken as absolute gospel by some.....

You are quite wrong in your assumptions about me. I am not "anti-Kerry," I am simply not convinced he is a better candidate than Bush (with whom I am less than thrilled as well). I do listen to both sides, and make the best decision I can based on the information I have (something a number of people here seem unwilling to do). And I couldn't care less what the Swift Boat Veterans have to say, because Kerry's war record is not an issue that concerns me, nor is it the basis upon which I will cast my vote for or against him.

I apologize, I stand corrected.....

I did find "Against All Enemies" a compelling read, though.... ;-)

I got the sarcasm bit, I am sarcastic as well, very much so, and I love to hear it from others(even conservatives). IMO this board is way too sensitive, people cant take a beating here and there, and what is more fun thatn a good argument? I got in trouble so I am playing by their rules and watching others break the rules and suffer no consequence, as they are not liberals. I know this board leans a bit the right, ok, a lot to the right, and when we liberals don't mind our p's and q's, we get into trouble and even booted off the board. I think it is unfair, because those people get to say horrible things to us, and it is unfair because the moment we say something snotty or rude they are all over it. I actually enjoy it a bit, watching people like you be completely civilized, and them going crazy with immature and judgemental posts, and It makes me see how much you are getting under thier skin. and I know it goes both ways, we do it too, but I think we are right on the issues, so we dont need to be that way.

anyway, I love reading your posts, so keep them coming.

Thanks for reposting the link. India has always been influenced by west. I am not sure if outsourcing has played changed the culture more than it would have changed even otherwise. I know divorce rate has increased in India. I am not sure if it for good or bad. Only time will tell.

>> Try Fox News. Bill O'Reilly has the no spin zone and he is pretty fair and balanced. <<

IMO nothing could be further from the truth.

O'Reilly shouts down those who disagree with him and tells them to shut up.

He's interested in no opinion that differs from his own right wing views.

I suspect he'd feel right at home here on this board most times.

I've never watched O'Reilly on Fox, but I listen to his radio show pretty regularly and find him to be refreshingly non-partisan. Of course he's opinionated, and his views do lean a little right of center, but he trashes extremists on both ends of the spectrum almost equally. Unlike Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, for example, he doesn't seem to have any vested interest in toeing the Republican Party line. I enjoy listening to him. As far as him telling people to shut up, I've never heard him do that on the radio. If he does it to people on TV, it's probably those kinds of folks who don't seem to know when it's time to shut up on their own.
