Why is Kerry hiding his Military record

If he's got nothing to hide, why won't he sign a Form 180 which authorizes release of all his records?

I didnt see the Kerry speech until the following day, and I thought that Al Gore took over Kerry's body to give the speech, without any emotion however.
With regards to the bias part, it cannot be biased against the candidate when it comes from his very own mouth.>>
Yes recaps, they went on for quite some time, and I wanted to hear what was being said. I'm not sure I ever saw the speech you're referring to. I watch alot but I've been away from regular news for a while. The local news was all hurricane coverage for a while, and I wasn't at home where I have cable. As for the bias part, usually that is true if you are hearing the whole thing. I'm sure if the whole speech aired it's unbias, but there are plenty of ways to take what a person sais and add a bias spin. Just leave what you want and cut out parts that don't suit you. Both sides do this, and alot of the 527 ads on both sides use this tactic alot.

My husband served two tours of Viet Nam (4 years) not 4 months. He is not guilty of commiting any crimes. Kerry is a disgrace to all honorable men.
Your statements are all opinion. They are not facts. The fact is that Kerry did win his medals honorably and the recent investigation into that stated just that fact. I think you and your husband were not in that VN war. It was a different war, although this one in Iraq has turned into one similar in that there is guerillia type fighting and it is a mess we will have trouble getting out of, just like VN. You can dislike Kerry all you like but your hateful words are hurtful to all who served in VN and won medals there just like the did.

Well said.
He's too far back to win now. All that's left to come are the whining excuses for another humiliating defeat for Democrats.
And Daschle's chances are looking pretty slim, too.

When you see the speech, it is actually pretty amazing that Kerry was giving it, because it sounds more like Al Gore of today, as he is ranting about how Cheney and Bush attacked his service, but they themselves did not serve. I watched Cheney's speech and Bush's speech, and they never once questioned Kerry's service....maybe he is paranoid?
As far as the 527's are concerned, maybe now Washington will see that the McCain-Feingold bill was as flawed as many said it was before it passed. This needs to be corrected because 527's dont do anyone any good.
know how he voted when it came to the military:
In 1991 Kerry voted to cut defense spending by 2 percent. Only 21 other senators voted with Kerry, and the defense cut was defeated.
In 1991, Kerry voted to cut over $3 billion from defense and shift the funds to social programs. Only 27 senators joined Kerry in voting for the defense cut.
In 1992, Kerry voted to cut $6 billion from defense. Republicans and Democrats alike successfully blocked this attempt to cut defense spending.
In 1993, Kerry voted against increased defense spending for a military pay raise.
In 1993, Kerry introduced a plan to cut the number Of Navy submarines and their crews; reduce tactical fighter wings in the Air Force; terminate the Navy’s coastal mine-hunting ship program; force the retirement of 60,000 members of the armed forces in one year; and reduce the number of light infantry units in the Army down to one. The plan was DOA.
In 1995, Kerry voted to freeze defense spending for seven years, cutting over $34 billion from defense. Only 27 other senators voted with Kerry.
In 1996, Kerry introduced a bill to cut Defense Department funding by $6.5 billion. Kerry’s bill had no co-sponsors and never came to a floor vote.
In 1996, Kerry voted yes on a fiscal 1996 budget resolution – a defense freeze that would have frozen defense spending for the next seven years and transferred the $34.8 billion in savings to education and job training. The resolution was rejected 28-71.
Such votes add up to “a 20-year record of being weak on the military,” says former Republican National Chairman Richard Bond. “To this day, the defining issue of this election is that America is under attack. I do not believe in the end Americans will vote for someone with a soft worldview.”

If Senator Kerry is elected we won't have to worry about the economy. Without a strong
military, there will be no economy...period!
