If he's got nothing to hide, why won't he sign a Form 180 which authorizes release of all his records?

Kerry only served 4 MONTHS not years in VN. Let's not give him more credit than he deserves!

That's a pretty strong statement. I wouldn't even want to serve 4 days in Vietnam, the credit he deserves should have nothing to do with spending 4 months or 4 years. Yes 4 years would have been alot worse, but that doesn't mean a soldier that serves 4 months deserves less credit then one who serves 4 years in the same place.

the attacks on the Veterans when he returned from Vietnam is definitely open to question and scorn."

I kinda take this one personally....I entered the Army in the late 70's...some of those "war criminals" were fellow soldiers and friends of mine.

Does it matter? May be then Bush should tell the true about his military record! Will an of this change your vote or determine who will be a better President? I doubt it!

Yeah, and Bush has told us the complete truth about everything he has done. Where are the weapons of mass distruction? That's right, we haven't found any in over a year, but let's keep our troops there and risk their lives!

If anyone has the right to protest a war is someone who has been there. Where you Vietnam? Do you know how bad it was?

Protesting a war, and lying about witnessing attrocites and lying about other men in uniform is totally different.

Meeting with the enemy while still a uniformed officer in the US Armed Forces is also not protesting a war.

You really should be able to differentiate if you plan to debate people.

Did you not read what the topic of this message board is? Have you read the first question? Why is Kerry not willing to make HIS military records public? What is he trying to hide? Kerry is the one who brought this whole subject up to begin with and President Bush had every reason to run with it. The only thing President Bush has said about Kerry's service is "I think Senator Kerry served admirably." Kerry is the one who keeps making a big deal about who did what 30 years ago. That subject should have been dropped a long time ago as it is not relevant in today's world. Kerry needs to tell us what his plans are for in the here and now. There have been 19 presidents who have served in the National Guard; are you going to tell me that they weren't fit to be president? The National Guard is just one aspect of serving our country. Not everyone went to VN and just because you didn't go to VN doesn't mean you didn't serve your country.

Did you know that John Edwards didn't even serve our country in any capacity? Why isn't this brought up? According to some....he is unfit to be one of our leaders.
