Why is Bush still ahead? I just can't understand.

-3 years later and we have yet to find Osama Bin Laden

-Bad Economy .(Outsourcing, loss of jobs)

-Every other country hates us..(No allies)

Just to name a few... Only way I'd even consider voting for Bush is if he suddenly turned up with Osama Bin Laden at election time. (which very likely could happen.) Even with that, I'm not sure I'd vote for him.

I agree. I don't really go by polls on who's going to win. You never know about them and also because not everybody votes in these polls. I try to when I hear about one from a mailing list or something. *Shrug* XOXO.

AS far as mono tone Kerry goes. I like him. I think he comes off as a kind, honest person unlike Bush. I think people are just afraid of change. People tend to stick with what they know. I think if you don't like the way things are going you should change them. Hopefully the recent polls are inacuarate like some of you said. Democrats need to vote. Republicans never miss the voting booth.

As far as your information states there is some doubt about these facts. It seems that the terrorists have begun to function with smaller independant units and therfore are more dangerous. Why wasn't Bin laden more actively sought before the invasion of Iraq? Since he was our most threatning figure. All of the information coming out of Afganistan indicates that the Warlords are controlling most of the country and growing heroin to ship to us. The Taliban are still active in spite of the small force we still have in the country. In Iraq, it is true that there is a democratic effort but the country is almost in civil war. Many of the areas are totally controlled by the followers of Sudam. The radical Muslim followers of Al Sadr are still fighting us in Baghdad. I have neighbors on either side of me who have family in Iraq. One of them just recently returned. I am very concerned about their welfare. These people are in the age range of 18 to 24 years old. I disagree about the economy being better. There are more people out of work and those who are working are getting paid less. I have a sister who is a college graduate and is unable to find any work except in well know coffee shop. She is working according to Bush but hardly in what she's capable of doing. As to allies, Tony Blair is with us (thank God) but the majority of the English are against the war and President Bush. The other major countries of Europe and Asia are against us. Spain left us as soon as they were threatened ..What kind of ally is that? Italy has been supportive but has not really contributed many troops or money to help out. Poland is the same. But I appreciate their effort.
