Some of the Vietnam Vets against Kerry held a rally in Washington last Saturday. This is a good Site about that day.

I find something interesting. Kerry runs with his service as a centerpiece of his campaign, and tries to convince Veterans that he is more on their side than Bush.

I guess the Veterans feel differently since the American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars have both endorsed Bush.

Also, it will be interesting to see the reception Kerry gets when he speaks to the National Guard, after Bush received a very warm welcome in Nevada.

Have you seen any clips of Kerry at the National Guard convention? Many of them got up and walked out during his speech.

Of course he got a warm welcome! Remember, Bush rally audience members have to sign that loyalty oath-----no dissenters allowed! Someone had posted about a Bush rally at a university in which a few students who silently protested (turning their backs) were made to leave.......you dare not NOT cheer enthusiastically at Bush events!

I saw that on the news last night.

I also saw Pat Caddell (democratic strategist) last night and he said that Kerry is fighting a losing battle by repeatedly bringing up Vietnam, which is being shown to be a losing proposition for Kerry.

Caddell also said that he could not believe his eyes when the Kerry camp and the DNC started referring to the CBS investigation. He said this was like running the campaing from the Titanic, and they just hit the iceberg that CBS threw in their path.

LOL....that is pretty funny. I am sure that the National Guard had to sign a loyalty oath....that is why some of them actually got up and left during Kerry's appearance....

They're allowed to leave, speak out, whatever at Kerry events, he is not the President. It's only the big cheese that doesn't permit dissenters and has more power to back it up.

That is okay.

Just wondering: if these people are so against Kerry for being anti-war why don't they volunteer and go over to Iraq and then come back and see if their minds are the same about being against Kerry. XOXO.
