Mother of son who died in Iraq arrested

Did anyone see last night's Countdown? They had actual footage of a mother being arrested at a Laura Bush event. The mom was standing outside a building wearing a t-shirt that read something like "Pres. Bush I blame you for killing my son". It was just her and about 10 reporters and a camera which was videotaping her being interviewed. Then you see two police officers come up and ask her to come with them. She refuses, and they arrest her. She asks what's she be arrested for, which they don't answer and as they're dragging her off she says "but I have a ticket for this event". The media were shocked. I don't think any of them had been so close to witness it and even more to have it on tape!
I think the eventual charge was "defiant trespassing".
I'm assuming after she's released, can't remember, she's being interviewed again. She had written to Bush with her ex-husband and said something along the lines that they blamed him for their son's death. She was asked if she heard anything back. She says "No, but they did get something that asked if they'd like to donate to Bush/Cheney 04".
So for all the doubting Thomases about what's happening at Bush rallies - here's one caught on tape. It hasn't been posted on Countdown yet, or I would've posted the link and of course it doesn't appear as any other media picked up on it yet as I've googled the heck out of it to no avail (but it's early yet). Can anyone add any insight as to why or how the police are doing this too? Or are they just "following orders"? Any legal issues with this? Seems like harassment to me.
This is really out there, but I sometimes wonder if Bush even knows how many people died in Iraq. It seems such great lengths are taken to keep him from seeing any protesters and he has never attended a funeral of any of those that have died. The coffins are brought in late at night at Dover so it never appears in the media. I had heard that he has a thing about death, as in he avoids it and any mention of it, since his sister passed away. Don't know if that's true.

<<They could have easily just had her taken out of the event and told her to go home or something. >>
Now there's a thought. Why, oh why, can't those fools in charge think of something so simple and easy?
"Police have dropped charges against a Hopewell woman who was arrested when she interrupted a campaign speech by first lady Laura Bush to ask why her son was killed in Iraq.
Sue Sapir-Niederer had refused to leave the Thursday rally at a Hamilton fire house and was eventually escorted from the site. Sapir-Niederer wore a T-shirt that bore the words "President Bush You Killed My Son" and a picture of her son, Army 1st Lt. Seth Dvorin.
While he defended police for doing the right thing, Mercer County Prosecutor Joseph L. Bocchini Jr. issued a statement Friday that said police would dismiss the trespass charge.
"It is our determination that the police officers had more than enough probable cause to arrest Ms. Sapir-Niederer and were justified in the their actions," said Bocchini. "Taking all factors into consideration, including the recent loss of her son while serving in the armed forces in Iraq, I believe that the continued prosecution of the this matter would serve no useful purpose."" http://www.phillyburbs.com/pb-dyn/news/104-09172004-367614.html
Honestly, I'm surprised the prosecutor didn't try to have her stoned instead of dropping the charges. If George Bush knew about this, I'm sure she'd at least have gotten to few years in Sing Sing.

I know the dangers of my dh being in the Army. We were married for almost 6 YEARS before he enlisted in 1999 and we knew what we were getting into. Well, he's been deployed 3 times in 3 years-to Kuwait and Iraq as an Infantryman and now Afghanistan as a MP. While we don't like being apart from each other we know it his sworn duty to uphold that oath he took and DO HIS JOB! He proudly wears his uniform and serving his country. We've been in this for 5 years now and we plan on him doing 20+ years altogether.
I truly am sorry for this woman's loss, I really am. My dh lost a very good friend in his platoon over in Iraq and several of his friends were injured when an IED exploded. It could have very well been my husband who died or was seriously injured, but thankfully he was not. Another friend from another company lost his leg when a IED was thrown into their Bradley and had 3rd degree burns on his arms and torso. One of his friends is permanently blind in one eye because a piece shrapnel flew into it. I could go on and on about how this war has affecting me and my dh directly. I still stand by what I said about if my dh was killed DOING HIS JOB I would NOT blame Bush. I understand this woman is angry that her son died and wants to blame someone, but blaming Bush is NOT the answer.
I just read the post before mine and if he enlisted in 2002 then he should have known, as well as his mother should have known, that he would be sent into combat!
