I can't find a thing to discredit this photo, it seems to be the real deal!

The photo in question appears on the George H. W. Bush Presidential Museum's official website.

cute and true. I wish it were the case that only liberals were inclined to read that. But, I hope it gets some of us off our butts to vote.

Some people though on the site I read on down on messages sent in from other people that his unit could have gotten the award before he got there and he had to wear it too to match everybody else, but I guess the point is that he wasn't there when they got it yet he still is wearing it. *shrug* XOXO.

There are times when a whole unit gets an award and everyone does wear it regardless if they were there or not when it was given. I think my dh even has one unit award like that. There are some non-combat units that get attached to combat units, so they are authorized to wear a combat patch even though they themselves weren't in combat.

If he really isn't supposed to be wearing that award he has on in that pic then I'm sure it would have been brought up in 1994, 1998, 2000 or whenever his NG service was questioned in the past and we'd have heard about it in the main stream media already and not from some little site. Besides, after reading many of the comments by people who actually served in the Air Force, he was authorized to wear it because it was a unit award.
