Being a music freak I love finding out about new music. Here's some anti-war music for you to listen to. There's Beastie Boys (definite recommend), Green Day and even country legand Willie Nelson. http://onegoodmove.org/1gm/1gmarchive/000628.html is where you can download the songs. :) XOXO.

I have to say you did give me a laugh. I don't think the "peace signs" you are refering to had anything to do with the symbols that were used in america by hippies and flower children. These people are from other countries and may not have a clue that that was used to symbolize peace by us. Most likely it means something entirely different to them. I agree that not all Iraqies want war, but these terrorists are not for peace of any kind.

Have to agree with you here. I don't even think they really care if they have peace on there own soil. Their desires are completely different. A talk show host(radio and PBS) named Tony Brown speaks about this often. He seems very knowledgable and talks often about the (I know I'm going to spell it wrong, I hope you are familar) Wahabi Sect. He has recommended some books for reading, unfortunately, I haven't had the time to follow through, so for now I depend on his thoughts and information.

I have a question about PBS. I have notice there seem to be several PBS chanels now, does anyone know which ones are more likely to have political news on them. I paid alot of attention to this durring the conventions, but now I usually go to the main news chanels like CNN, MSNBC, FOXNews, etc. They just tend to be a little more bias then anything. I like to watch CSPAN alot just because it seems much less bias, as does PBS. But the PBS stations are a bit difficult for me to pick out which are showing good programs rather then advertisements, kids shows, etc.

Any info would be helpful.

Of course not. They wanted to enrage the US so that we'd be only too glad to help them bring about their dream - global jihad. Bush has given the terrorists exactly what they wanted. Bomb the camps, fine. Topple the Taliban and actually capture Bin Laden. But Iraq? What on earth were we thinking?

Maybe if you did a search on PBS and see if they list affiliates, or what ever they are called. I really don't watch TV, I just know that Tony Brown is on at 5am on Sundays, and I don't get up that early on that day, so I try to catch him on his radio show. I do know our local PBS station has a political show on Sat. or Sun. evenings, but I don't usually catch it. My house is too busy for me to sit down and watch even a 1/2 hour of something. Soryy I can't be of more help to you, hopefully someone else can.

Awesome link! I listened to a few of them, some were a tad goofy, but you are right about the Beastie Boys and Green Day they both have been high on my list for years. But Willie Nelson sends tingles up the spine. He speaks to so many.

"Sure, invest in peace, invest in peace. What a bunch of nonsense! The terrorists don't want us to live in peace. They want to destroy our way of living. We are the Infidels and are seen as their enemies. They will do whatever they can to hurt us and every other free nation in the world."

Yeah, no kidding, I can't tell you how many times I am going about my business and trying to say, drive to school, or take my kids to daycare, or go to the bank or whatever, and up comes one of those freaking terrorists, all up in my face about "NO PEACE NO PEACE" and giving me no other choice than to drop what I am doing and just start swinging away at them, and I personally am sick of it. I never really noticed until you pointed it out, as they really and truly are a tremendous threat to my way of life. thank you. Remind me to get to the board moderator about getting a sarcasm icon, if you would.

Dont you mean instead that "there is no money to be made on peace"

because it sounds like that to me.

I guess you forgot about 9/11 and the many other attacks against the US by the terrorist groups. Just because they aren't in your face everyday, or even once a week does not mean they don't exist.

We also need an eyeroll icon as well, because that's what I often do reading the responses on this board!

Yes. I love Willie's music. Grew up with him and Elvis Presley as a kid. :) The new song from him is great and I love the video (definietly need kleenex). XOXO.
