Being a music freak I love finding out about new music. Here's some anti-war music for you to listen to. There's Beastie Boys (definite recommend), Green Day and even country legand Willie Nelson. http://onegoodmove.org/1gm/1gmarchive/000628.html is where you can download the songs. :) XOXO.

I was talking about after 9/11, I think it was you that said there were terrorist attacks since 9/11. and as far as my being personally fearful it was in isolated incident. One hell of an isolated incident, and depressing and upsetting, but should it make us more fearful? no. not any more than before 9/11. our death is inevitable, and no matter what we will not get to choose our path to the afterlife or whatever a person believes. All we can do is live. the world was not safe before. i am interested in making the community I live in better to live in for the people who are willing to live. All the others can stay at home in front of their tv's and live thier lives in fear and shamelessly allow the media to put them there so that the only place they go is work, walmart, home. and that is just where they want you.

"Yes, Clinton was in office when the strike occurred, but the intel did not confirm it was Al-Qaeda until Bush was in office. Of course it was assumed that bin laden was responsible, but you can't conduct a military strike on assumptions"

LOL Unless you are George W Bush, that is.

Just what makes Rhetoric meaningless, when it discredits someone you agree with? :O

Now now.... I will have to correct you there, about your statment that Bush accomplished nothing in his four years... I will kindly refer you to the discussion "bush's successes" it will highlight exactly what he has done in office.

No, I did not say that there were terrorist attacks after 9/11, you simply misunderstood, misread, my post, or I simply was not clear enough.

As to the remainder of your post, I agree, no where, or at anytime, have I suggested that we crawl into our holes and hide and not live our lives.

As I stated, I'm trying not to respond to rhetoric. Especially inflamatory rhetoric.

Does it REALLY discredit the person? Do you have to fill in blanks or is there enough solid fact to be firm in your conviction?

This was very memorable yes, but not large scale, Are you kidding me! Over 3000 people died in one fail swoop. As foor it being one event, may I remind you that several plains were highjacked not one, Two huge towers full of people were attacked, the pentagon was attacked, and one plain was crashed into PA in order to avoid further blood shed. This was all done in one day, and while it was not in every city in the US several major places were attacked and it effected the entire country, maybe even the world. No it can't be compaired to the nazi camps but get real, this was and is a serious threat that effected everyone on a very large scale. No I'm not living life in fear, but I am certainly not going to make lite of what happened that day. It was very large scale, and yes very scary.

"Actually, I did not forget, and though 9/11 was horrid, I do not feel threatened, If I worked for the governement I might feel it a little more so ...."

Why do you think government employees have more to fear than the rest of us? Do you think it was all (or mostly) government employees who were killed in 9/11?
