>>One of the big propaganda things against you <<

Yup that O'Reilly is quite the independent journalist.

I wish he would have asked him about his lie claiming to watch the first attack happen on TV before he was told about the second attack.

He's gotten complaints he's too easy on Bush and complaints he's not respectful of Bush. Personally, I watched to hear what Bush had to say, but I'm becoming less & less impressed with O'Reilly. He's a spinner in his own "no spin zone" when he wants to.

NO, I'm not confused.

I know you don't want to be my friend. You weren't asking for debate on a specific issue, something I could respond to. You asked me to

"elaborate? I'm curious about where you started ideologically to where you are now."

As I said, I'm old, that's covering a lot of years. That would be a very long post, and quite personal too. No doubt you would get bored reading it all, if I had he time to write it. Or maybe you'd try to pick me apart the way you just picked at my example of the man who went from conservative to liberal. No matter. I'm not going to compose my lifelong philosophical developement tonight here on this board.

I know what debate is & I will continue to discuss current issues here. If you speak to me in a reasonable manner, without demeaning phrases & sarcasm, I may debate with you. I'm not into abusive relationships so if I feel I'm not being treated politely, I may choose to ignore.

OK, I was wrong, you're not isolated. I wonder how it is that you see patterns of behavior that I do not see around me at all. No, I'm not isolated either, based on our previous conversations you probably know that. I don't follow the red & blue color maps, I find that oversimplistic.

You ask "Would you mind sharing some specifics here, or is this another generality we can ignore?"

My response, no, I wouldn't mind being more specific, if someone asked me a specific question in a respectful tone. You did neither.

You assume the man I spoke of was my friend, he was not, just an acquaintance. Why were the protestors arrested? I don't recall, & I think it's irrelevant. Sure, go ahead & assume they were breaking the law, I have no problem with that, but he wasn't doing anything, just walking down the street. You keep explaining things to me as if I don't understand them. Yes, I know this was a law enforcement episode. When he was arrested, it changed his political perspective. That's his story, not mine.

It happened. Apparently now that I've told you of someone who went overnight from conservative to liberal, you want to blame me. How dare I??? I didn't dare anything, I didn't appropriate anything. All I did was tell you an anecdote about someone who changed his views from conservative to liberal.

You're making faulty assertions. Republicans hold all kind of views about abortion. Some have no problem with abortion in the first trimester, some are just not very concerned with it unless it affects a memeber of their family one way or another, some believe it's a constitutional right, and

BUSH: I was thinking America was under attack, I was collecting my thoughts, and I wasn’t about to panic a bunch of kids. And the program was winding down, I waited for the end of the program, I excused myself and I went to action. And what the American people will judge me on is whether or not I handled that crisis, in a way that lets them know that, that I’ll lead in this war on terror, that's what they need to look at, and I think they are looking at it that way..."

And it is still a completely unacceptable response.

Have you noticed that Kerry always has to have an excuse? When he falls down skiing, it's the fault of the #$#% secret service agent. When he votes for the war in Iraq, the president has mislead him. When the Swiftboat vets
