Here's a video of Bush during the first debate. You can tell the only thing editied is Kerry's parts out and it's just Bush. http://www.pleasurecaptains.com/favor/howsmall.html

now THAT is comedy

I was laughing so hard at that montage and then it hit me... all over again... THIS MAN is running our country!!!!???!?!?!!?! The life-and-death component to all of this makes it a wee bit less funny... more like scary!

While I don't think it's fair to critisize someone by the way they look (either Bush OR Kerry) I did find it telling that Bush WAS frustrated and it showed. Unfortunately it made things appear that Kerry was getting under his skin and scoring points. He also did not do very much to refute what Kerry was saying other than repeat the same tired and simplistic buzzwords over and over.

Too bad he didn't take a page out of Kerry's book (and many other people during debates) and write notes while his opponetnt spoke (then he might have been able to be a little more productive during his 30 second rebuttals). How much do you want to bet that in the next debate Bush will suddenly appear, pen in hand?

I watched the entire debate (yawn) and I am still waiting for the specifics.

I dont consider "go to www.johnkerry.com to see my plan" stating specifics.

I dont consider saying that he will not give any nation veto power over the security of the US, but said that any pre-emptive attack would have to pass the "global test" (which means that the UN would have to approve of it, giving other nations the right to veto it...) Too bad Bush was not a good debater or else he could have pointed out that Kerry contradicted himself again, but this time within the 90 minute time constraints of the debate.

I dunno, he filled up his two minutes. Maybe he was just informing people who wanted to know more than just two minutes worth.

Bush's blinking light demands may have required the Senator to give a few answers in nutshell versions (by the way, have you gone there?) but you are clearly picking through whatever moments you can to make excuses for the arse-whooping bush got... lol!

Bush couldn't give an answer longer than 2 minutes if his life (or job) depended on it. What a character.

Bush did have pen and paper at the podium and he did start writing after so long. I wonder what he was writing though...seemed like it didn't help him much.

You only have two minute's to talk about your plan. He made out the main points. The website details the rest.

And what specifics did he cite?

Your answer will be none.

I ask you the same question.....what specifics did Kerry give?

None is the answer you will have to come up with
