Here's a video of Bush during the first debate. You can tell the only thing editied is Kerry's parts out and it's just Bush. http://www.pleasurecaptains.com/favor/howsmall.html

I cite Pew as another poll that has problems with its drastic swings.
Recently, Pew had a poll that had Bush with a sizeable lead (I think 14 points or close thereto) and two days later showed that it was down to 1 point. Again, a swing of this magnitude is too severe unless a HUGE scandal had been uncovered and proven in those 2 days.
Bush has shown leads ranging from 3 points to 13 points from the conventions right up to the debates, so in my mind I doubt Bush ever really had an 11 point lead. But the latest pew and abcnews polls today have Bush in the lead, so I'm not sure his lead had evaporated, whatever lead he had. Even when Bush was clearly leading I was stating my opinion that polls are really meaningless up to the election-the last few I've voted in have not gone anything like the polls predicted they would. I think the bottom line here is that they are pretty much even nationally, any way you slice it-it's all going to come down to what happens in the individual states.
Doesnt that provide enough detail for you?
He would even be so hypocritical to condemn the President for not supplying the troops adequately without acknowledging that he voted for every single defense budget cut that came up for a vote while Senator. He also voted against the $87 billion for the troops, but then in an interview with Chris Matthews, when asked if the cost of the war were too much, Kerry responded as saying no, and that he would supply more money. When Matthews asked him how much more, Kerry's answer "as many billions of dollars it would take to win the war."
Kerry trying to have it both ways again, and Bush failed to nail him on it.
Kerry is the one saying he offers a difference. I heard that he would do things differently, but didnt hear any specifics, except attacks on the Bush policy, without saying what his administration would do differently.
If the talks are one on one, that means that China, South Korea, Russia, Japan, and anyone else currently involved are no longer involved.
I think the Pew poll is the worst of them all as it swings wildly all over the place.
If I'm not mistaken, China is the one that is pushing for bilateral talks. They are also pushing for Japan to engage in bilateral talks. As I undertand it, China really got involved trying to coordinate this thing when the bilateral talks fell apart in an effort to have the US engage in some sort of talks with North Korea (and they themselves have sat down with the North Koreans one on one). I still don't see too much of a conflict if the US goes ahead with bilateral talks and still participates in the mult-national talks as well.
Kerry is not proposing at all to do away with those talks....he is just proposing that the US also engage the North Koreans one on one as well.
We gave in to too many of NK's "demands" and are now paying the price, since NK basically did not live up to the agreement made with the Clinton Administration.
We need China there to apply the pressure both politically and economically, since China is NK's biggest ally.
