DRUDGE Report today shows video of Sen. Kerry cheating during debate. Despite agreement by both participants that notes could not be used during the debate - Kerry apparently brought notecards to the podium. LOOKS LIKE THE SMOOTH TALKING SENATOR CHEATED!

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Since your posts seem to contain nothing other than rhetoric and no substance, you have fallen into the category of another poster on here who does the same thing....

At least Kerry has the class to admit he was wrong about something and change his mind. Bush has never done that has he? I'm sure mistakes are made all the time (it's apart of life where you learn from your mistake's to grow as a person).

I agree, I got the feeling his advisors told him, "Don't attack, just stay on message, we're ahead so you don't have to crush Kerry just don't make any big mistakes." Therefore he really wasn't armed with any of those statements. Now it would be nice if he was quick enough on his feet to have thought them up himself, but he did make a couple of "catches" IMO, like the "global test" comment he picked up on. Seems the best parts for him were when he veered off what was obviously a prepared script a bit.

Edwards is a lawyer so who knows what will happen tomorrow night. Do you mean damaging to Edwards or Cheney? Just curious.

Thanks, I'm not voting for Karl Rove, nor do I believe the left wing spin that Bush is simply Rove's puppet. Don't really have much interest in reading the liberal "evil conspirator" articles about him.

If you want to get a little preview of Edwards speaking go to the site http://www.dems2004.org Edwards does have a big task ahead of him though with Cheney. I do agree that Cheney is a lot better speaker than Bush. I can't wait for tomorrow night!

Some of the intelligence may have been evaluated by the CIA. However, pre-Iraq, the State Department was receiving raw intelligence from the CIA and anything-- untrue or not-- that could possibly support the case for war in Iraq was leaked to the press. The resulting evaluation (proving the intelligence to be inaccurate) by the CIA was kept secret, painting an inaccurate impression of the danger that Iraq posed tot he national security of the US.

"Bev, it would be nice... but look at it from the other direction. You aren't coming anywhere closing to achieving such a standard now. There is nowhere to go but up."

Well, that's a matter of debate, which of course is what this board is all about. But what does it say about the Dems that they couldn't field a better candidate than Kerry ... someone that you (and probably others) would be content if he basically did nothing for 4 years? Although I did like what Lieberman had to say .... too bad he wasn't considered good-looking or charismatic enough to be a viable candidate. But, that's the state of politics in our great nation.

I'm not sure what will happen at this debate. On the one hand Cheney is more experienced (no getting around that). However, I do think that Edwards is very charismatic and quick on his feet. I think Edwards would connect more with ordinary Americans (especially the middle class and especially women). Cheney is kinda boring. He connects more with conservatives. I personally don't think the swing voters would identify with that man. If there are a great deal of domestic questions I think that would benefit Edwards. If there are a great deal of foreign policy it might benefit Cheney (although Edwards could point out that even with all the experience Cheney has Iraq is still a mess..he was in denial about how Iraqi's would respond..he misrepresented the connection between Iraq and 911...etc..etc). I have read that Edwards said he will go after Cheney hard because there is so much at stake. This will be Edwards' first one on one debate. Only time will tell if it will work out...

Why do Bush supporters have trouble admitting that he is an idiot that can't think on his feet?
