DRUDGE Report today shows video of Sen. Kerry cheating during debate. Despite agreement by both participants that notes could not be used during the debate - Kerry apparently brought notecards to the podium. LOOKS LIKE THE SMOOTH TALKING SENATOR CHEATED!

Besides, you'd have to be totally stupid to cheat in front of cameras and millions of viewers! They're just grasping at straws! Next thing they'll say is that he had someone feed him the answers through telepathy...

Hey! Welcome Back!

Perhaps Rove was trying to use telepathy with Bush.

Two can play this game.

Of course, if it makes you a popular politician now. I don't think Reagan did us any favours. Nice guy, lousy economic policy.

So the Bush spin machine likes to say, and his followers love to parrot. Bush and same sex marriage, Bush and Iraq. He's been consistent?

I see what happens to the people that attain that office, and it ages them severely.

Look at Carter before and after in just 4 years. Look at GHW Bush in 4 years. Look at Clinton. Look at GW Bush in the 4 years. They all aged a lot.

The pressure is tremendous and I cannot even begin to imagine what these people go through on a daily basis.

Thanks for the support though, and I think that it would be a breath of fresh air to see some actualy openess come to Washington DC.

I had a reply typed, and my wonderful typing skill wiped it all out. Basically... I don't believe in borrowing against the future for our economic benefit. One can argue that the Reagan tax cut was ok, but I cannot fathom the last one, it makes no sense, and there is no justification for it whatsoever, especially since it was blatantly favouring the wealthy of this country. Bush used to be called Boss (for Boss Tweed) when in school... can see why.

I agree we should be fiscally responsible. We should also be socially responsible.

I can understand the hazardous nature and reason for avoiding them... yet we should have some sort of plan to develop alternatives, and we don't. Mistake. A big one.

LOL. Then they'd call it witchcraft and say Kerry is a pawn from Satan.

Thanks! Been busy lately so less time for the boards....

I can't believe the race for the US presidency takes soooooo long! It's something like 10 times the lenght of ours! All that distraction from running the country can't be good...

I would call it more of a sanity thing.
