DRUDGE Report today shows video of Sen. Kerry cheating during debate. Despite agreement by both participants that notes could not be used during the debate - Kerry apparently brought notecards to the podium. LOOKS LIKE THE SMOOTH TALKING SENATOR CHEATED!

It's more a reflection on how bad things are now.

It's way more than you will get from Bush so why vote for Bush? That is the point.

What countries in Asia do you refer?

South Korea has troops in Iraq AND Afghanistan.

Japan has sent people to help train the police since they do not have any sort of military to send.

Europe:

Spain had troops in Iraq, and withdrew, but have since told the US that they would gladly deploy additional forces in other areas, so that the US could take some of their own forces out to use.

Portugal sent troops.

Poland sent troops.

England sent troops.

Need I go on?

Also, I did not realize that France and Germany were now considered our enemies.....

Kerry described his plan? I guess you have a special ESP channel on your cabel box that allows you to read Kerry's thoughts as I watched the debate and all Kerry said was that he would do things differently. Even when confronted for specifics by Jim Lehrer, Kerry continued to say that what Bush was doing was wrong, without stating specifically he would do. If I am wrong, please prove it to me.

BTW donita, I know you ignore my posts, as you cannot deal with the fact that I deal in facts and not supposition and rhetoric that you seemingly like to deal in.

No...the first debate.

Kerry did not present what he would do with specifics...all he did was state how he felt Bush did the wrong thing.

The other thing that I forgot to mention about what Bush failed to do was that when Kerry said that the war cost $200 billion that could have been better spent on education, healthcare, etc. Bush should have said that when Chris Matthews asked him the same question, Kerry responded in saying that he would send even more money into Iraq, and when Matthews asked how much, Kerry responded with "as many billions as it would take to win the war."

Again....Kerry trying to have it both ways, and unfortunately Bush didnt pick up on it.

I really wish I could have debated Kerry as he would still be standing at the podium in disbelief.

-- Perhaps the items that you speak of in his pocket were the pens and papers that were already inspected?

The pens and papers that each candidate used were already at the podium awaiting them. They were not supposed to bring anything out there with them.

If Kerry did pull cards out to use and nobody caught him, then that is their fault.

I am willing to assume (which I know is dangerous) that it was something like a handkerchief or his glasses.

I saw the video, and while you can see Kerry removing something from his pocket and placing it on the podium, you cannot see what it actually is.

The video is available at www.drudgereport.com

True.

Edwards had better be careful as if it gets heated, Cheney could expose him as the unseasoned politician that he is.

Cheney never could vote on the cuts #1, but Kerry did SEVERAL times.

Second, the human intelligence assets of the CIA were reduced by over 60% during the 8 years of Clinton, largely due to the influence of John Deutch who was too busy taking his laptop with classified information home with him, and using his CIA computer to download pornography (I guess he had his priorities in the right order).

The CIA evaluated the intelligence.

They were the ones that prepared many of the reports that were used by Bush and by Powell.

They also looked at the intelligence gathered by the other nations aforementioned herein, and concluded that it backed up what they had in their intelligence estimates.

What did Carter do other than ONE attempt in 400 days to rescue the hostages? Nothing

What did Carter do about the economy?

What did Carter do about the mile long gas lines, and the energy shortage?

Reagans people met with the Iranians illegally to make a deal for the hostages? I have heard the rhetoric about this for several years that the Republicans wanted the Iranians to hold off releasing the hostages until Reagan was about to take office, to really make Carter look bad, but the actuality was that the Iranians were prepared to do this once the results of the elections were announced, and they knew that Reagan would be in office within 2 1/2 months.

-- I disagree with the lengthening the war stuff. I hear people say such things and laugh. They conveniently forget the Big Concern... that China would get involved if we went too far

The Chinese were involved. How else do you explain that during the war, the US lost just over 50,000 men, and the NVA lost over 1,250,000. Where did they keep coming from? The Chinese were supplying the NVA and supplementing them with troops.

I agree about Nixon as he was paranoid, but he was a good President, who let his paranoia get the best of him. I agree about Agnew too... I thought he was a bit odd....never liked him.
