Do Americans really want a "pretty boy" with no substantive experience in foreign affiars who can't even be bothered to show up for intelligence committee meetings to be one heartbeat away from the presidency?

You do not have to like Cheney but there is no evidence that he is greedy or corrupt. To the contrary, he has gone to great lengths to ensure the opposite. If believing that military force was necessary in Iraq is evidence of greed and corruption, then both Kerry and Edwards are greedy and corrupt because both of them voted to authorize such force.

Wow, you march to the beat of Cheney well.

After you're done dancing, here's the facts:

Edwards has an 84.8% voting record in the Senate. In each of his first four years, he had a perfect or near perfect record:

1999 Cast 371 out of 374 votes for a 99.2% voting record

2000 Cast 298 out of 298 votes for a 100% voting record

2001 Cast 377 out of 380 votes for a 99.2% voting record

2002 Cast 253 out of 253 votes for a 100% voting record

2003 Cast 281 out of 459 votes for a 61.2% voting record

2004 Cast 84 out of 198 votes for a 42.4% voting record

I'll let you do the math on how he ranks versus many other REPUBLICANS not running for office.

And did you all see the true numbers on Cheney presiding over the Senate?

Cheney said Edwards missed committee meetings, not votes. However, I do think it would be a good idea to attend the committee meetings before casting votes.

I also read that he only meets with republicans, so he wouldn't met with Edwards either way. Has anybody else heard this?

I guess if he were greedy or corrupt in his formation of our energy policies he would do what? Keep the meeting notes secret? But he did do that, hmmmm.

I believe he does meet with the Senators, but only the Republican ones----kinda doubt Edwards would be at those! Here's a couple of other interesting tidbits I found:

<

THE TRUTH: Cheney has met John Edwards several times, including at a prayer breakfast in 2001. In addition, Cheney has presided over the Senate's Tuesday sessions just twice in the past four years. In Cheney's absence, John Edwards has actually filled in as President of the Senate twice.

CHENEY'S LIE: "You've got one of the worst attendance records in the United States Senate."

THE TRUTH: John Edwards has an 84.8% voting record in the Senate. In his first four years his voting attendance record was 99.2%, 100%, 99.2%, and 100%.>> Found this in an article by Dave Allsopp
