Ha! Those of you that think that really need to rent the video Fahrenheit 9/11.Sad that I had to wait for it to come out on video because the REPUBLICANS did not want the truth to be known in the theaters!God help this world!Because our politicians aren't!

<<90% of the material in that film has been definitively proven to be fabrications.>>

Where? Prove it.

It's sad to see you've fallen for the hype of gwb. GWB did not attack after intel confirmed obl was responsible for the USS AL. He did not respond to a memo that passed his desk saying islamic fundamentalists were planning to use passenger jets as missles. After warnings from Richard Clarke concerning planned attacks on the U.S. he spent the first summer of his presidency slacking in Crawford.

Oh, yeah. gwb never served his country during viet nam. In fact he (along with cheney, rumsfeld) got deferred. John Kerry volunteered to serve the USA in military combat.

GWB is a sorry, lazy, slacker president and an embarassment to our country.

what is your point here? You are going to deny that you have a bias? come on now. we all do and the post you are showing me is still showing your bias and, though it does less so than many of your other posts do, it still solidifies my point here that you have your biases too, so quit coming down on other people for giving you biased information or quoting biased sources. YOU DO THE SAME THING!!! everything is biased so get over it. and quite showing me stuff I already read.

still I do not know if you have seen the movie, and i think if you have not, you can't possibly know what you are saying your point is not too valid. Lets talk about that instead.

"You are going to deny that you have a bias?"

Actually, no, I DID say in that post that I have biases. Apparently you didn't read it. If you did and you still don't get my point, I guess there's not much I can do about that.

my bad. you did "grant" that to the reader. So, why then, since you reognize your own biases, do you have such a problem with the movies posted by crownotangelgrl? and I would like to challenge you to find some films that are NOT biased right now, as you said you would do if it you were going to recommend films to watch, or books, or a magazine that cannot be shown to have a bias. I just want ot know why it is so offensive to you, this is a debate board you know. people will present thier view!

Who said I was offended by anything? And yes, people will "present thier view," and that's exactly what I was doing. Why do YOU have such a problem with that? My only point was that if someone I knew wasn't sure whom to vote for, I wouldn't recommend movies to watch (or books to read or Web sites to visit) that presented a one-sided point of view. That was the same point Alicia was making when she asked crownotangelgrl where she got her information. Some people here (mostly the left-leaning ones, for some reason) seem incapable of reading or hearing or watching anything that challenges what they want to believe. I try to get a balanced amount of information from all sides. Just because my opinions differ from yours doesn't mean they are any less informed.

I'm sure you still have no idea what I'm trying to say, but I'm through discussing it with you in any case. You're obviously much less concerned with truly trying to understand other people's viewpoints than you are with holding forth with what you mistakenly believe to be "witty" retorts.

I have asked you a number of questions that are on topic but you neglect to answer. Why? all you want to do is argue about it. You have not answered yet if you have seen the film, you have not recommeded some unbiased films, I am curious. I look up all sorts of inormation, and I listen to conservatives all the live long day. i do it paitiently, and with thoughtfulness. I have learned from many a conservative. Some of my favorite people are one of them. I happen to live in a mostly conservative city, and so, Yes, I do disagree when you say: "Some people here (mostly the left-leaning ones, for some reason) seem incapable of reading or hearing or watching anything that challenges what they want to believe." And I feel a need to point out that just because a person believes one thing it does not mean that they are not informed on other sides of the issue.

BUT, I do not think there is any way to get you to believe that someone is informed short of haiving them agree with you. If you should elect to answer my questions, I am more than happy to have an on topic discussion about farenheit 911 or michael moore or whatever you like, but as far as insinuating my inablity to comprehend your complexeties, well, you can keep that kindly to yourself.

And *I* never once mentioned either Michael Moore or Fahrenheit 9/11. Which just goes to show how closely you were reading.

I rest my case (finally) ......
