I'll be brief... Bush did not look like he wished to be elsewhere tonight. Beyond that, Kerry again wins. An incumbent should have an advantage; they live the issues daily. Kerry clearly bested him on so many things. Bush also showed arrogance by talking over Charles Gibson.
Bush is in deep doo doo.

but from my perspective, even forgetting that he was trashed on issues, Bush was rude and arrogant... it is readily evident how information suggesting there might not be wmd's was buried... wasn't the intelligence services getting it wrong... and by the way, the info Kerry got to lead him to vote for the war is intelligence from the White House shared with Congress... if they leave stuff out, Kerry had no control over it. Bush did and the Neocons did.
Anyway, he is intolerant of other opinion, and it shows. A president that is is a danger to the country and the world.
let's look at the facts. Kerry worked his ass off to get ahead in life, all through school, etc. Daddy set George up, and hoped he wouldn't screw it up... damn near did. Bombed out of the Gaurd, hid out from going to fight in a war he was *for*. Big, brave man who stands by his convictions... you know where he stands... yeah, behind a tree and lets others get shot at for something he supports.
I don't know where this info is, and perhaps someone knows. I've heard that women see Bush's conduct last night as abhorrent, while men don't. And that says all I need to know.
Wow, that is a coincidence, I was thinking the SAME thing.....only about Bush.
Bush and Cheney declared before the war that the US would go it alone, without permission from the UN. That Blair, a seemingly intelligent man, was willing to play lap dog to Bush has always surprised me, but there it is. You have the US and Great Britain sending the most troops and suffering the most casualities, simply because their troops are on the front lines. Some other countries in the coalition have not even deployed troops.
But then again, you and I know we see this whole issue differently.
But let me ask one question. Is Iraq now considered a member of the coalition? After all, the US is there to free Iraq, what status does Iraq have? If they are listed as a member of the coalition, how come their troop, police and ground casualties are not listed in the body count?
We know that US troops will not accept any other nation having control over US deployments and actions, do we know who controls Britain's, Australia's and Poland's troop deployments? Isn't the supreme commander American?
