On HBO they're showing a Kerry/democrat documentary type thing where it's this girl following Kerry since 2003 (I believe that's the date) to the convention in Boston. It'll be on tonight at 10pm eastern and again 1am eastern if anybody is interested.

There's also the Sinclair Broadcasting Group who decided it will broadcast a television movie before the election called "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal." (it is a 42-minute movie about Kerry's anti-war activities when he came back from Vietnam. It will be shown on all of their stations, many of which are in battleground states...Kerry was invited to be a guest) and Michael Moore is showing "Fahrenheit 9/11" on Pay-per-View on election night. Heard the DNC is up in arms over "Stolen Honor". Sounds like censorship if prevented from being aired. Do I like Michael Moore showing "Fahrenheit 9/11" on election night? ...not especially. Does he have the right to? ...yes.

If I had HBO, I'd watch the Kerry documentary.

Not exactly the same thing, as you would have to pay to watch "Fahrenheit", but the Kerry movie is being shown on the "free" media, violating equal time rules. If they showed "Fahrenheit" right before or right after, on ABC (the network showing "Stolen Honor"), then that would be fair. Coincidentally, this is the same group that refused to air the Nightline episode that was a tribute to those soldiers who had died in Iraq, because it was deemed "too political!!!" HELLO????

Just curious, was it censorship when the RNC was up in arms about the Reagan tv movie, and got IT pulled from the free airwaves?

Oops, sorry for mentioning equal time rules; I totally forgot that Reagan got rid of the Fairness Doctrine! So that wouldn't apply.......but I still disagree with showing the film on "free" airwaves!

I'm voting for John Kerry and I'm all for this film showing up on the airwaves. This just goes to the show the lengths at which these people will go to smear John Kerry.

Come on, there was a reason both the DNC/GOP conventions were both about one person: John Kerry.

After the Swift Boat Vets were shown to be liars, this slime simply isn't going to cost John Kerry any votes.

No one has shown the Swift Boat Vets to be liars. The DNC drones simply keep repeating that phrase in hopes that like Goebbels, it will become true if you say it often enough. They've brought down Kerry, and hard. There is no longer any doubt the DNC will suffer yet another humiliating defeat in 3 more weeks.

I think it's only fair that if the RNC can show their movies then the DNC should also be able to. If they can show their anti-Kerry movie then "Going UpRiver" should be able to be played and on regular networks (like ABC, NBC etc). It's only fair, right? I wish the documentary thing would be on regular networks. That way everybody could see it.

Don't forget Clinton. They did anything to get information on him to get him under oath and get him out of office. It really doesn't surprise me.

Naval records have shown them to be liars on some of the more outrageous claims. The other claims are too ambiguous to be proven true.

As for Kerry being taken down.... Bush lost 15 points in the polls since the GOP convention the first debate. Yeah, an incumbant tied is really bringing someone down hard.

The polls don't even reflect the new voter registrations :)
