I'm shamelessly stealing this link from another board. Thanks to the original poster.

Also, many Nobel prize winners have endorsed Kerry.

These are views of people period. They do not reflect most of society as a lot of business people, professors, intellects often think of themselves as better than everyone else or think they know what is in our best interest. They are opinions. People prefer to think for themselves.

As for nobel prize winners just look at some of them; the latest a black woman thinks aids does not come from monkeys but is a bio-chemical agent aimed at black people. Guess she does not know that people's behavior spreads aids. If people took responsibility for their actions instead of blaming someone or something else we could help reduce the spread of this devastating disease.

People who understand economics and business better than your average person.

Huh? They know a heck of a lot more about economic polices and their effect on the economy. I don't think that they are trying to speak for anyone else, but are pointing out specific problems with Bush's economic policy.

This doesn't even make sense in relation to my post. Nobel prize winners win the Nobel prize for a reason. But anyway . . .

Other people have cited the support for Bush's economic policies by a Nobel laureate as evidence that his policies are sound. I just wanted to make sure that people realize that there is evidence supported by economic and business scholars that Bush's policies are hurting the economy.

As for your comments on AIDS, it really had nothing to do with my post. I understand that we have to think for ourselves. That is the exact reason I posted these links. We should evaluate the evidence on both sides of the economic fence before deciding which policies are going to benefit our economy.
