Oh boy... I surely hope O'Reilly was not dumb (and disgusting) enough to actually talk like this to co-workers.  He is disliked by many, he should know better.

O'Reilly Hit With Sex Harass Suit
Female Fox coworker details lewd behavior of cable TV star

OCTOBER 13--Hours after Bill O'Reilly accused her of a multimillion dollar shakedown attempt, a female Fox News producer fired back at the TV star today, filing a lawsuit claiming that he subjected her to repeated instances of sexual harassment and spoke often, and explicitly, to her about phone sex, vibrators, threesomes, masturbation, the loss of his virginity, and sexual fantasies. Below you'll find a copy of Andrea Mackris's complaint, an incredible page-turner that quotes O'Reilly, 55, on all sorts of lewd matters. Based on the extensive quotations cited in the complaint, it appears a safe bet that Mackris, 33, recorded some of O'Reilly's more steamy soliloquies. For example, we direct you to his Caribbean shower fantasies. While we suggest reading the entire document, TSG will point you to interesting sections on a Thailand sex show, Al Franken, and the climax of one August 2004 phone conversation. (22 pages)

FOX IN THE XXX FACTOR
By TOM TOPOUSIS and LEONARD GREENE

http://nypost.com/news/regionalnews/20209.htm

October 14, 2004 -- Fox News personality Bill O'Reilly yesterday launched a pre-emptive legal strike against his associate producer, charging that she's trying to extort $60 million in "blood money" by threatening charges of sex harassment.

"The O'Reilly Factor" host claims that the producer, Andrea Mackris, and her lawyer, Benedict Morelli, demanded the enormous payoff in exchange for not going public with their claim that O'Reilly harassed her for more than two years.

Mackris, 33, immediately countered with a lawsuit of her own that accuses O'Reilly, 55, of repeatedly pressuring her to engage in phone sex and giving her explicit sexual advice dating back to May 2002.

Mackris' suit says O'Reilly talked about sex with her numerous times after he learned that she had split with a boyfriend.

O'Reilly repeatedly encouraged Mackris to buy a vibrator and give it a name, she claims. When she objected, O'Reilly offered to "coach her through it," her court papers say.

The lewd phone calls continued until Sept. 21, when O'Reilly told her, "Next time, you'll come up to my hotel room and we'll make this happen," her papers charge.

O'Reilly denied the allega- tions and vowed to fight back.

"This is the single most evil thing I have ever experienced," he said yesterday.

His lawyers claim that Morelli offered his client's silence for the huge settlement.

"These people picked the wrong guy," he said. "They can throw everything they want at me. I'll take it and, in the end, we'll see who's left standing."

On his program last night, he said, "In the end, this is all about hurting me and the Fox News Channel."

Mackris began working for "The O'Reilly Factor" since April 2000. She left in January for a higher-paying job at CNN, only to ask O'Reilly for her job back in June. He rehired her.

Lawyers for Fox and O'Reilly claim the suit is an attempted shakedown and politically motivated, charging Morelli is a major Democratic Party donor.

"The O'Reilly Factor" is especially popular with conservative voters.

"Saying it's about money is an interesting spin from the spin doctors," Morelli quipped during a news conference with Mackris at his side. She did not answer any questions about the case.

Court papers filed by O'Reilly, Fox and the cable station's parent company, News Corp., which also owns The Post, say Mackris never made a complaint about sexual harassment to any official at Fox News.

Disclaimer: First off, I am a big O'Reilly fan. My initial reaction is to believe that he can't possibly be stupid enough to do this sort of thing. But I guess stranger things have happened. The man does have an ego the size of Montana. I guess it will all come out in time, and if there's any truth to it I hope he's enough of a man to admit it right off the bat instead of pulling a Bubba-Boy Clinton and making coy denials that no one believes anyway.

Even IF he's innocent, this has done his career a lot of damage. Some people will still treat him as if he was guilty anyway. But, supposedly, she has taped conversations. Will be interesting to see how it all turns out.

Perhaps not so much as some would hope ....

Syndicate Prez, Column Clients Stand By Bill O'Reilly

By Dave Astor

Published: October 14, 2004 2:35 PM EDT

NEW YORK

In the wake of sexual-harassment charges, Bill O'Reilly hasn't lost clients for his newspaper column -- or the confidence of his syndicate's president.

"I'm behind him 100%," said Creators Syndicate President Rick Newcombe, when contacted today by E&P. "I think this is politically motivated. Bill is a lightning rod for criticism because he has strong views and can be very critical of the other side. He's a big target."

Newcombe added that none of O'Reilly's newspapers has canceled the column or mentioned the case of alleged sexual harassment. O'Reilly's weekly feature appears in 300-plus papers, according to Creators, making him one of the more widely syndicated opinion columnists.

Andrea Mackris, an associate producer on O'Reilly's highly rated Fox News Channel show, filed a lawsuit accusing O'Reilly of speaking to her against her will about sex, vibrators, and more. The suit also quotes O'Reilly as threatening any women who complained about his advances and as saying that Fox News head Roger Ailes would retaliate against enemies of the cable channel.

O'Reilly -- a married father of two who has criticized President Clinton and others involved in sex scandals -- filed suit against Mackris accusing her of trying to extort $60 million from him and saying her allegations may be motivated by her attorney's connections to the Democratic Party as the presidential election nears.

Newcombe wondered if the legal tussle was another offshoot of the "mean-spirited" campaigns waged by both Democrats and Republicans.

"Bill has been unfairly accused so many times of so many things," added Newcombe, whose syndicate began distributing O'Reilly's column in early 2001. "I've gotten to know Bill for three or four years. His family is extremely important to him. He and his wife, and he and his children, are very close. Bill is loyal, honest, and straightforward. He's demanding, but knows how to say thanks. He is a geniunely honorable person."

I agree with this article. If this woman was afraid why did she come back to FOX and to work for O'Reilly? Tapes were never mentioned. It sounds like a case of a woman and her lawyer wanting money. Also if he is connected to the Democratic party that could be a problem for him. I read somewhere that he has done this before(the lawyer). $60 million sounds like a lot of money.

I read the same thing about the lawyer, and can answer why she came back to Fox.

I don't like O'Reilly, but it certainly sounds like this person is out to get him. I had heard that there are tapes; or at least someone said that her charges of what was said are SO specific, that it sounds like she's got him on tape.....

I wonder about it. It'll be interesting to see what comes out of this. I don't know much about O'Reilly and don't watch his show so *shrug*.
