Your link didn't work. It said "service unavailable" While I'm posting I will say I am really disgusted that someone had the gaul to steal a Kerry/Edwards sign from my front lawn. I wouldn't stoop so low to steal a Bush/Cheney sign. Just goes to show how little character some people have. Furthermore, as far as the answer Mr. Bush gave about "What would you tell someone who has lost their job to outsourcing to another country" Tellingthem that they would get help to inrole in a Community College. That's fine, but who is paying for it? US! the taxpayer. Why can't the company that outsourced the job pay for re training. also, if the person is in their 50's plus, who wants to start over after putting some 20 some years into a company, dedicating their better part of their life to a company? And, as far as the Flu vaccine shortage because of contaminating from the drug company in England, Bush said "We are trying to get some from Canada" During the last debate, he said we don't want to get drugs from other countries untill we find out it is safe and won't harm or kill us" YET, he won't let our Seniors buy drugs from Canada, but now he is trying to get flu vaccines from them? He himself managed to stay out ov Vietnam, getting preferencial treatment because of his powerfull connections, yet he sent thousands of our american military over to Iraq to be killed and or maimed.

I asked at work why Merck a local company who has subsiduries all over also couldn't have made a flu vaccine, I was told it wasn't "cost effective" it isin't a long term continual money maker like their other products. So because of the scarcidy of the flu vaccine, people will be hospitalized and or die, because it wasn't "cost effective" I wonder just how much these drug companies donated to Mr. Bush's campaigne!!!

I noticed that too.... that Bush said the flu vaccines will be from Cananda, yet at a previous debate he said we will not import drugs from Canada.........

Another hmmmmmmm.......

LOL

:)

Thank you so much for pointing that out. I wonder that very few people have picked up on that "flip-flop". I think it is safe to say that both candidates are guilty of "the flip-flop". I am a bit outraged that Bush did such a poor job responding to the roe-vs-wade question. Talk about being vague. Generally Bush is slightly redeemable because he at least holds onto his convictions. I think this question may have rattled his cage.

Renee,

Maybe they had a secret date. Tee hee... just kidding. I was trying to figure out what they were saying, but no luck here. At least they all "seem" to get along. Did you know that they are distant cousins? http://msnbc.msn.com/id/4286105

Okay, I am blabbering and getting off topic.... it's been a long day.

How is that a flip flop, asking the Canadian's to help with our short supply of flu vaccine.

It's not the same circumstances as people getting meds over the boarder at cheaper prices when they are available here. Unless.....

Its a flip-flop when in debate # 2, Bush stated that he did not agree with getting non prescription drugs from Canada for a cheaper rate than that of the United States. How is that not a flip-flop. I'm not argueing with Bush about wanting to get the vaccine from Canada, only that it contradicts his earlier statements. flip-flop.

As I stated, we are not talking about circumventing the U.S. pharmacuetical companies here, he is looking to increase an already inadequate supply. Stop and take a moment to think about your comparison instead of looking for ways to discredit Bush and support Kerry. Vote for Kerry, but at least make in an informed decision and not one based in falacies.

I see it as a flip flop.

First he said we can't have pharmaceuticals fronm Canada.

But now we can, because he said so?

No, because the U.S. has an insuffcient supply, I think he said due to contamination but I need to find that out for sure, We need it to give to people that if they were to get the flu, they would be very ill, probably require hospitalization, and possibly even die. We are NOT talking about getting the flu vaccine from Canada because it is cheaper than what we have available here.

Oh but will the flu shots be safe? That was his reason for no to prescriptions, not the supply. Now you're changing the reasons, just like the reason for the war got changed.
