McCain’s man Gramm

One more reason not to vote for John McCain.
If elected, John McCain would most likely make former Texas US Senator Phil Gramm his top economic adviser.
John Gramm believes that all of who are hurting because of higher gas costs, higher food costs, the rising cost of most goods, loss of jobs, and mortgage problems as a bunch of whiners.
McCain says that economics is not his strong point. He is better verses on national affairs and running wars. So, he will have to rely on people like Gramm for advice. Likely that advice will mean higher taxes for the little guy and more tax breaks for the millionaires in this country.
Gramm has backed away from the campaign to keep Democrats from reminding the voters that those who are hurting because of the hard times in this country are just a bunch of whiners. But rest assured that smiling Phil will be back with his looney economic policies as soon as McCain is elected.

Gramm is like a virus. He infiltrates and destroys from the inside out, whatever industry that he sets his sights on.

He originally advised McCain to come out and say that it wasn't the government's job to bail out irresponsible homeowners. WOW. Compassionate, right? I know that people have to take responsibility for taking on more house than they could pay for, but show a little sensitivity. I don't want McCain ever speaking for me!

Regardless of his personal perception of the level of "whining" going on in America, he's a respected economist and eminently capable of being an effective adviser for McCain. He's a good choice.

Gramm is pond scum. I resent him for what he said about us being whiners. He is dirt in my book. Anybody who has all they need doesn't understand how the average American is living or barely getting by. He has no worries how he will pay his bills. He disgusts me no end.
