Though John McCain calls himself a maverick and says that he is a change man, he has voted with current president George W. Bush time and again over the years. Over the last couple of years, I believe his record to be in agreement with Bush about 95 percent of the time.
So, we can only assume that the election of John McCain would be the same as continuing the status quo. No answers to solving the problems in Iraq. No answers in solving our economic problems. No answers to stabilizing social security or coming up with an affordable health plan. No answers to finding an alternative energy source.
McCain says that he will fight for Americans. But it takes more than a fighter. It takes someone who has some ideas, some answers.
We don’t need four more years of the status quo. WE NEED CHANGE!
McCain talks a good fight, but then so did George W. Bush back when he tried to convince everyone that he was a compassionate conservative. Not to be confused with hateful conservatives, I guess?
For the last three months, I have heard McCain and his cronies bash away at his opponent, but have not heard any answers to the problems of our times. He is good with the wise crack and the joke. But short on answers.
You cannot drill or bomb to answer all of our problems. If you could, McCain would be our man.
McCain is just like our president, a guy you might enjoy having a beer with, but not someone who will find solutions to our many problems!
