Why McCain Needed A Woman

McCain needed Palin because without a woman he was toast with women, and thereby toast with the vote.

Isn't it obvious? It's right in front of our faces.

It's a hoot to hear the prim, proper and morally superior Republican politicians try to defend, dodge and deny the whole laundry list of the misogyny of John McCain. Everything has a reason to be explained away. What they are missing is the big picture. It starts with the womanizing, then dumping his disabled, disfigured, injured wife for a newer, richer, much younger trophy prize, then using the C-word on her in front of reporters over nothing, then not even seeing the poor woman was addicted to drugs for years while they were married, then using her as a secretary because he apparently can't be bothered to learn how to use modern technology like computers and the Internet (the future of America and the world no less - no John McCain could not participate in this thread), then jokingly bragging she could win a nude topless biker beauty competition at which he was speaking, then supporting backwards Supreme Court decisions against women's right to fight pay discrimination or to have the right to choose, and so on.
Every single item of misogyny can be explained away in isolation. So much for seeing the forest through the trees on McCain's real view towards women, and his real lack of character in dealing with them.

((((((So much for seeing the forest through the trees on McCain's real view towards women, and his real lack of character in dealing with them.))))))

His disrespect for women does show in his pick of Palin. Not only does he think that he's justified in using her like a pawn in a chess game (or token like the media said), but he demeans women's intelligence by choosing a woman who is almost anti-Hillary.

It's as if he is thumbing his nose at women for not voting for him in the first place. lol. And the GOP as well for not letting him choose Lieberman or Ridge. Ridge got his jab in as well when he called him John Bush McCain. lol. hilarious.

McCain is not in control of his anger. And he holds a grudge just like Palin. If people around them are saying these things, we really need to listen. Otherwise, 6 months after the election, everyone will feel about them the way we feel about bush43.

So, the two of them running amok with their emotions out of check spells chaos for America-The way his campaign is run. Nasty and sporadic. You might see them, you might not. Can they even take criticism without releasing a litany of explicatives? lol

Please Vote for America's Principles and NOT your personal Prejudices.

Yep. He's using her alright. (sigh).

McCain uses Palin as fundraising tool

By SARA KUGLER, AP

CHICAGO -Republican John McCain seized on running mate Sarah Palin's popularity to raise money for the party, telling donors at a $4 million fundraiser Monday that he's overwhelmed by the buzz she's generating for his White House bid.

Yup, it's 50 big ones for the old super-rich right-wing white guys to get their photos with this ex-beauty queen. But hey, that's just a tiny portion of the amazing tax windfall Bush and McCain have given them.

We're all so far apart. It's like this country has entered the dark ages. Can you imagine what the Republicans would have done if Obama had nominated someone with so little experience to be vice president? McCain needs a lot more than a woman if he is going to run this country. He needs all of us. Yet, he will divide us even further. It is so sad what has happend.

OMG! I thought that you were kidding. McCain is "pimping-out" Sarah for cash! lol. He has sunk to all new levels of pandering now. Hey, as long as Cindy and Todd don't object it's hunky dory, huh? lol.

I can't decide who's more in denial.....

All the women who are now flocking toward McCain because he choose a woman as his running mate

Or - Sara Palin, for not recognizing the true reason why McCain choose her as a running mate.
