A few months back, John McCain’s economic adviser, former U.S. Senator Phil Gramm, referred to us Americans as a nation of whiners.
If we are, Phil, we have a reason to whine.
High gasoline prices and increased cost for food and just about everything else.
High unmemployment.
Lost jobs.
Unaffordable health insurance.
Jobs that have been outsourced to other countries.
Billions of dollars each month spent in Iraq with no hope of an end to our involvement with that country.
Yes, we have much to whine about. Is there such a thing as justifiable whining, Phil?
John McCain wants to put you in charge of the Labor Department or the Treasury Department, of just to hang around to advise him on this country’s economy.
No thanks! As Hillary Clinton said while back...No how. No way. No McCain.
