Should Politicians Ban Books That Are Decadent Or Unconventional?

  • No. People should decide for themselves what they want to read.
  • Yes. I'm with Sara Palin. Ban the books that endanger our minds.

I find it odd that one of the very first things Palin does when she takes the office of mayor is ask about the library book banning policy. She doesn't just ask about it one or twice, but three times.

In December 1996, Emmons told her hometown newspaper, the Frontiersman, that Palin three times asked her—starting before she was sworn in—about possibly removing objectionable books from the library if the need arose. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-palin-book_bdsep07,0,3537053.story

So let's see here.

First of all, McCain is not some frail old man ready to kick the bucket. His mother is 96 and in excellent health.

As far as a president dying in office, the same could be said for any candidate. Why are the democrats not furious over Biden? He's a horrible pick. He's a notorious bigot who time and time again opens his big fat mouth and sticks his foot in it. Do you want this man dealing with Putin? He's a moron! He has ZERO social graces and pretty much insults every minority or ethnic group he comes across.

Answer why the democrats are okay with this loser? Does it not infuriate you that he insulted Obama and called him a "clean black man"? Does it not insult you that he insults Indians that they "all" work in 7/11's?
