We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.
"I do not get why so many people have jumped on her bandwagon - she seems so much like many of the girls I knew in high school that just knew how to get their way - not smart in the intellectual sense, just very manipulative. "
It's interesting you should say that.

Had he picked Christie Todd Whitman,
I had to stop teaching English because the stress of watching him butcher the English language while teaching children not to do the same was just too stressful. Luckily he rarely discusses math - hopefully he can actually add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
You had to stop teaching English because of President Bush? I can't imagine the situation for sex ed teachers during Clinton's romp in office!
Need I go on?
Go on all you like. I think it is funny how the left sometimes paints Bush as an idiot, but has also accused him of controlling oil prices, out-smarting Congress on the Iraq war, even engineering 9/11!
It's really hard to take the left seriously.
Well I personally have never made that claim. The oil prices have more to do with simple supply and demand, basic Economics 101, and perhaps some input from the speculation. It also has to do with the lack of upgraded facilities for refining oil into gasoline and yes some profiteering.
I don't think Bush engineered 9/11 - it would make for a good political thriller, I just don't see him as a sophisticated thinker to manage that. You are using guesses and stereotypes to support your opinion. But I guess whatever gets you through the night.
