Can you answer for me, what part of John McCain's quote which Olbermann excerpted do you think is false? Did John McCain or did he NOT say that he knew how to get Bin Laden and that he ("we") will do it?
If you don't believe it, where was McCain wrong, or lying, or misspeaking?
If you DO believe it, what do you think about the idea that John McCain is apparently holding this knowledge hostage, and won't release it unless we elect him President? He hasn't (as far as I know, since Bin Laden's not actually in jail or dead) released it to President Bush yet....or if he has, Bush has simply rejected it, in which case I'd think it'd be McCain's duty as a patriotic American who wants his country to be kept safe to go around Bush to Congress and the media...to start making some NOISE, like T. Boone Pickens is about his energy plan. And I've not heard McCain say that if Obama is elected, he'd turn over this unique certainty of how to "get" Bin Laden to a President Obama, either - though you'd think that the time he made the startling announcement that he knew how to do it would have been the perfect time for him to follow that revelation up with a rejoinder to the effect of: "and this fall, win or lose, I will either carry out this plan as President, or work with President Obama to bring Bin Laden to justice. This is beyond partisanship."
But he didn't do that, did he? Odd.
Anyway, looking forward to your thought.

I truely don't believe that Hillary does want Obama to win. She wants to run again in 4 years. If Obama wins he will be the democratic candidate again in 4 years, not Hillary.
<>
The only reason the Clintons were at the convention is that Obama needs the votes of Hillary's supporters.
I don't believe I have seen either you nor anyone else championing McCain mention this "I know how" to catch Bin Laden declarative statement that he made.

I'm not sure what your point is. Are you saying that's counter-terrorism...convicting terrorists AFTER the attack takes place? If that's what you're saying then that makes my point.
This is what McCain said;
"President Clinton had opportunities to get Osama bin Laden. President Bush had opportunities to get Osama bin Laden. I know how to do it and I'll do it," he told ABC's "World News" in an interview.
I understand and I have the knowledge and the background and the experience to make the right judgments. Senator Obama does not," McCain said in a reference to his Democratic rival for the White House, Barack Obama.
McCain, who was a Navy fighter pilot and spent five years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, said Obama "doesn't know how -- how the world works nor how the military works."
Now I guess, if you are a complete moron and have very poor comprehension skills, you could somehow, wrongly,
Ramze Yousef was convicted of the 93 WTC bombings. DURING CLINTON'S term.
Yeah, he sure showed bin laden what he was in for. Great job there, Bill.
