No, I'm talking about what McCain himself said.
Olbermann is a complete ass. McCain states right there that both Clinton & Bush had opportunities to get Bin Laden and didn't. He states that he would do it, because he has the know how that Obama and the previous presidents do not. I didn't see anything about a secret plan.
He actually states right there why he thinks he can do it.
Obviously, he is referring to being able to make the right decisions as POTUS. I don't know of any CIC powers being granted to senators.
Of course, KO needs to overlook all this, because otherwise he can't make the asinine argument that McCain is helping Bin Laden, LOL! I just love those brilliant special comments by KO.
I really wasn't talking about Olberman, but if you want to just talk about him, that's okay with me.
If McCain knows how to catch OBL when he's POTUS, he knows now.

Well, the thread is about KO.
I don't know why McCain didn't share these thoughts before.
No, I don't think it's something he can share, and I don't know of any president that would allow a senator to come in and take over. He would need to be POTUS to do the job of POTUS. Besides, I think Bush is going to do it his way, as any president would.

Probably, but he's not the President now.
I Think I could come up with a way to catch him. I wonder if KO thinks I helping him too.
If McCain knows how to find and catch Bin Laden and he hasn't told the proper authorities, then he is worthy of being tried for treason. But I don't think he knows, it's the old man's dream, and he's blowing smoke out his tooter.
For the record, and I've stated this in my previous posts, I think you are completely misinterpreting his statement. I believe KO is doing it willfully to facilitate his argument. I think any reasonable person would be able to get the meaning, that's why I feel it is purposeful by KO.
It is the same as Obama's "lipstick on a pig" comment. If you hear the entire quote, I don't know how you could think he is referring to Palin.
"For the record, and I've stated this in my previous posts, I think you are completely misinterpreting his statement."
Please tell me how. Here are McCain's actual words to which you have yet to respond:
""President Clinton had opportunities to get Osama bin Laden. President Bush had opportunities to get Osama bin Laden. I know how to do it and I'll do it," he told ABC's "World News" in an interview.
"I understand and I have the knowledge and the background and the experience to make the right judgments. Senator Obama does not," McCain said in a reference to his Democratic rival for the White House, Barack Obama.
McCain, who was a Navy fighter pilot and spent five years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, said Obama "doesn't know how -- how the world works nor how the military works.""
