I did a Google search for polls and came across this information, how accurate are these polls?

Sorry about the link I had trouble copying and pasting this because of its length.

As for polls, when the election is this close, no I don't think they are accurate.

I bookmarked it, thanks. It looks pretty accurate from what I've heard and read.

There's probably someone out there who has studied the statistical methods used by all the different pollsters on the list, and some might do a better job sampling than others. This early in the election, the polls don't mean much, especially when the point spread is within 5 points. The 10 point advantage McCain has in the USA Today poll must have the Obama campaign a bit worried, even though all the others are much closer.
