How Many Groups Can Obama Offend???

Well, the Obama campaign may want to rethink its latest ad strategy.  After all, how many groups can one candidate and their supporters offend before there is no one left to vote for him:

Middle America - they "cling to their guns and religions"

Senior Citizens - McCain is too old

The Handicapped - How dare Gov Palin have a Downs syndrome child - abortion or retirement, those were her choices (this from the "pro-choice" crowd); how dare Sen McCain - despite war injuries -  not be a user of keyboards

Women - betraying Alice Palmer, dissing Hillary, "lipstick comments", insinuations that women with children should stay home

Any woman who has ever conceived before marriage - that scarlet letter thing wasn't too effective, Obama had to call off the attack dogs

Pro-Life - women not only have the right to kill those babies in utero, by golly, if the child survives the abortion procedure, we'll still get rid of them

Pro-choice - this issue is "above my pay grade"

Jewish Community - associations with Rev. Wright and Farrakhan raise some serious questions. . .especially after twenty years!

Muslims - get those girls in head scarves OUT of my photo op

People of Faith - good grief, how dare Sarah Palin pray that she do God's will. . .Obama's prayer in the Wall in Jerusalem (fortuitously leaked to the press) doesn't count for a candidate who seems to have no core values except "Photo ops count"

And - remarkably enough even African Americans - Hillary supporter of color were called Uncle Tom at the Democratic convention

Feel free to add more - my non-handicapped arm has keyboard fatigue!

Heh.

Now in darkness, world stops turning
Ashes where the bodies burning
No more war pigs have the power
Hand of God has sturck the hour
Day of judgement, God is calling
On their knees, the war pigs crawling Begging

The only one in there (in my opinion) that has any truth - or any legs - is the one the Republicans actually HAVEN'T made much hay out of yet - Obama's fear of appearing with Muslims (specifically, the "head scarf" incident, though that's not the only one). I frankly think it is cowardly of him to refuse even to be seen with Muslims in the picture. It probably wouldn't be the best idea to be photographed in a Mosque extensively, given the lie-generated confusion over his religion, currently. But at a regular campaign rally where there are plenty MORE people who are NOT in traditional Muslim garb all around, I think it's just insufficiently stout of him.

The rest of that stuff is nonsense, though.

If Obama won't stand up to Rev. Wright for twenty years, won't stand up for Muslim women in scarves at his rallies. . .what makes you believe he is sufficiently "stout" to stand up for anything but his own personal ambition.

Well, the list does get longer and longer:

women(Palmer, Hillary & Palin),

veterans (bring the troops home BUT not before the election),

the handicapped (if they can't stand up or readily use a keyboard, let's point it out),

people of faith, (better not mention God or pray to do
