That's the surprise...even without Palin, McCain has been neck and neck with Obama in a year when the Democrats should be surging. Imagine how weak a candidate Obama really is to be in this situation in times like these.

*** Enjoy yourself for a day or two. This is as good as you are ever going to see. The bounce on the convention and the gamble on Palin and the best the GOP can get is a tie.

Obama couldn't hold on to his meager 3 pt bounce for more than a day or two. The darling of the media and the messiah of the throngs of faithful who's pulling in millions and millions each month, can't crack 50% (like McCain just did) or put any distance between himself and a Republican in an acknowledged "Democrat" year. That speaks volumes about the weakness of the Obama candidacy.

*** Once we get back to the issues, it's all over.

"Hope and change" is a slogan, not an issue.

The debates will tell. . .BUT I believe the voters are beginning to realize what empty suits the Democrats have nominated AND an October surprise awaits
