Clueless about the economy

Does John McCain really believe that our economy is fundamentally sound? Is this guy out of his freakin’ mind? He is either too old or too stupid to be president. Umployment is down. Wages are down. The price of everything is up. The deficit is up. The national debt is up. Yeah, sounds like the economy is in great shape, John. Perhaps it is time for another tax break for those who make over $250,000 a year. We could use some of that Reagan trickledown voodoo economics about now.
Perhaps when McCain is elected, his new treasury secretary Phil Gramm will straighten all of us whiners out?
The guys seem to be clueless about the economy.

*** but the policies pursued during the past 5-8 years have really undermined everyone's economic well-being.
Which policies are those? And how have they created the current situation?
**His wife being the Beer Queen a product that has caused people to become alcoholics, to become drunk and drive, how many peoples lives have been runied by the product her old man made millions on?**
Oh brother, people make their own choices to drink & drive or become alcoholics same as they choose to do with drugs or anything else of a self-destructive nature - they ruin their lives all on their own because they've chosen such self-destructive behavior.
Understanding the economy has always been a difficult one for me, however Mark, from the little I do understand, and from trying to listen to "experts" that weren't choosing political sides, your comments are right on target.
You know, I tuned the conservative pundits out recently when they started saying that it was during the Clinton years that policies were set up that have resulted in the situation we now find ourselves in, lending I'm talking about.
**It's still a product than can lead to addiction in some.**
Of course it can but it's sure not Cindy McCain's or anyone else's fault that someone chooses all on their own to abuse alcohol, drive drunk, etc.
