Clueless about the economy

Does John McCain really believe that our economy is fundamentally sound? Is this guy out of his freakin’ mind? He is either too old or too stupid to be president. Umployment is down. Wages are down. The price of everything is up. The deficit is up. The national debt is up. Yeah, sounds like the economy is in great shape, John. Perhaps it is time for another tax break for those who make over $250,000 a year. We could use some of that Reagan trickledown voodoo economics about now.
Perhaps when McCain is elected, his new treasury secretary Phil Gramm will straighten all of us whiners out?
The guys seem to be clueless about the economy.

McCain, on the other hand is more about "teaching a man to fish"...by lowering taxes, people and companies have more money. More money means growing companies...growing companies mean more taxes and more employees...more employees mean more people paying sales and income tax. Give people more money and let the market work. Play "Robin Hood" and you're milking a dried up cow
Wake up!
We as American Citizens have every reason to expect the "leader of the free world" to demonstrate significantly more character than that. And we have every right to be concerned that if our president would be so "unrefined" as to put his body parts in places where they don't belong, in utter violation of the personal integrity and moral values that even HE admits he violated, that he may not have the strength of character to resist and eliminate corruption, bribery, quid-pro-quo favors, and other self-serving opportunities (that EVERY politician is presented with, don't kid yourself for a moment).
Re: your comments about adulterers, I'm wondering now about the little sign in your signature, indicating your support for McCain as a candidate.

Well, I hope someday, but I won't hold my breath that the Conservatives will come to realize that Bush and Cheney DID finagle things to get us involved in the Iraq war. Most people realize it, but still a few har line Conservatives won't believe it.
I can compare it somewhat to a good friend of my DH and me, he was my DH's friend since they were kids, he was our Best man at our wedding. Well, people tried to tell me he was cheating on his first wife with his secretary! He ran a TV and appliance business, then he became a Realtor, he always did work long and late hours, but I just thought he was dedicated. I defended him on what I thought were lies. Recently I'd been calling him to get together with him and his GF(my DH and I go out with them a lot. Her son spent a year in Iraq. He is a staunch Republican. Well, this past weekend, my DH and I met his sister at a Member's Party at the thearter we are all members at. She went off on what her brother has been up to. He recently split with his GF, was dating another, but this new one didn't "Support him" like helping him pay his bills,he at one time had 5 cars, one being a Jaguar, a Corvette, and a Mustang GT, a Crysler and a Ford truck, the kind that can't decide if it's a car or a truck. AND he inherited from a friend who died, a Brickland. So, she told us he had been cheating on his first wife for YEARS, then recently cheating on his GF. Well, apparently he is back with the present one, but geez, I was told he was a serial cheater, but didn't believe it. You just never know!
I wouldn't marry a man who cheated on his wife. I wouldn't work for a man who cheated on his wife. I wouldn't want a man who cheated on his wife and then lied about it to work for my company, handling my clients, managing my investments, marrying my daughter or my mother. Why would I want him running my COUNTRY?
I agree with you here.
