"A study coming out Tuesday from scholars at Columbia, Harvard, Purdue and Michigan projects that 20 million Americans who have employment-based health insurance would lose it under the McCain plan."

McCain is swimming in the opposite direction. Electing him would be a mistake.

I am really sick over this, we pay close to 4,000 a year for our Health Ins through my husbands Employer. Plus a 20.00 co-pay to the Dr. and I spend on the average 600.00 a year on the maintainence meds i take. My Restasis eydrops are 150.00 for 6 months. A friend of mine who has no ins just paid 170.00 plus the meds for her daughter's Dr. visit. She just got a job after being unemployed for quite a while, the Employer gives them 150.00 a month towards Health Ins. Like that is going to cover anything! McCain id for the Ins companies and the wealthy, he sickens me no end. If he is elected, I will avoid anybody who voted for him, they will be on my &*$% list.

None of that matters even if true- which it is not.

The only thing that matters is keeping this dangerous, dangerous man out of the White House.

ABORTION

* He voted against banning partial birth abortion.* He supports abortion on demand.* He voted NO on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions.

It's good to see someone digging into the nitty gritty of McCain's plan. Because the campaign never provides any details, it's hard to know exactly how it would work.

Even so, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if health care benefits are taxed, either the employer or the employee is going to have to pay those taxes. If it's the employer, we know the employee's benefits or pay will be reduced accordingly.

We need to be less selfish and realize that we need universal coverage and increased regulation to contain health care costs in this country.

Except for the lies in your post, I like everything you wrote about Obama.

As one of his "thug" backers (I'm a 52 yo white woman who has never hurt another living being) who happens to love this country, I'm going to elect this HONEST, compassionate, intelligent, patriotic, Christian American senator/teacher of constitutional law, Barack Obama, to be our next president.
