"A study coming out Tuesday from scholars at Columbia, Harvard, Purdue and Michigan projects that 20 million Americans who have employment-based health insurance would lose it under the McCain plan."

McCain is swimming in the opposite direction. Electing him would be a mistake.

You're wrong. I, along with millions of other patriotic Americans, who care for ALL Americans, no matter their color, religious beliefs or sexual orientations, will elect Obama to be our next president.

Did anyone you ever believed in turn out to be something much worse than you thought they could ever be?

I believe Obama renounced Rev. Wright.

I used to have respect for a senator whose name starts with Mc and ends with in. But he changed and he is now out.

(((When has he EVER showed any patriotism? )))

Check out Barack's record for Veterans. It's much better than McCain's! Barack wants to strengthen SSI, McCain wants to dismantle it (even though John cashes his check EVERY month). What does a patriot do? Protect children by making sure they ALL have health insurance, NOT tax SSI so that seniors have more to show for their hard work for so many years, and patriots get our homeless Veterans real help. Not just lip service over a 26 yr career in the senate, the way McCain has done.

McCain has voted against Vets. That's UNpatriotic! John McCain joined the military because his dad and granddad pressured him to. The same year his dad died, McCain retired. Coincidence? Or obligation fulfilled? McCain admits openly that he resented the military, living up to his dad and granddad's reputation and following rules, and he rebeled. So, actions speak way louder about Barack being patriotic than simple labels and assumptions about McCain.

*** Well, the "you" in the "WE" need to tell John that the economy is broken, not fundamentally sound. And no, I know he wasn't calling the American worker a fundamental, so he just needs to cut the crap. lol.

No, the economy isn't broken, it's fundamentally sound. A couple of really stupid, irresponsible things happened, like giving loans to people who couldn't afford to pay them back and that's having a ripple effect. Economically speaking, the dollar has been rallying and the stockmarket has been very resilient.

Say, you had hopes for Kerry too, didn't you? ; )

No, no... the "stupid" and "irresponsible" giving of loans "to people who couldn't afford to pay them back" is the problem...

The conservative FAITHFUL. I have more FAITH in GOD than our Government, but it seems to me that the Conservatives almost consider them EQUAL. Frankly, I have NO faith in our Government, I'm sick of this "Bush kept us safe Mantra"

Yup. It was Obama who was instrumental in breaking the Walter Reed scandal going on right under all those Senators' noses. McCain wouldn't even vote for the recent bipartisan GI bill. McCain would put a commander in chief in Palin who doesn't understand foreign policy just a 72 year old heartbeat (his own) away from the Presidency, and McCain's father died at 70. There is a reason our normally right-wing military has donated more to Obama than McCain.
