"A study coming out Tuesday from scholars at Columbia, Harvard, Purdue and Michigan projects that 20 million Americans who have employment-based health insurance would lose it under the McCain plan."

McCain is swimming in the opposite direction. Electing him would be a mistake.

If people have to pay tax on the health ins they get from their employer, this is money they never see any of in the first place. McCain wants to give 2,500 for an individual and 5,000 for a family? Is a husband and wife considered family, or two individuals, even when one doesn't work? I don't like his idea one little bit, taxing the Health ins provided by the employer.

"Alicia, it's not a statistic, it's where I used to go to the Dr. My OB/Gyn at. I haven't been to that group in over 10 years. "

That is not what you said.

(((Economically speaking, the dollar has been rallying and the stockmarket has been very resilient.))))

My dollar doesn't go as far as it used to!! rallying from what? This is not a football game, if it was, then we would be losing Bush 43- US 0! The GOP leadership and their small gov't and deregulation of the sharks is not just a ripple, it's a tsunami!

Think again about the 5,000, that's for a FAMILY. In most cases insurance for a family is 10-12,000 a year.

*** My dollar doesn't go as far as it used to!!

Mine neither...and I sure don't want Barry to get his grubby little hands on any more of it.

Bush went after more regulation and the Dems shot it down. The same is true of McCain. The Dems like their cash cows.
