Here is a cool website where you can enter your family filing status and AGI and see whether/how your family will benefit tax-wise from the candidates' proposed tax plans:

So, where does the extra revenue to run the country come from? This is what I don't think you understand. If the wealthy pay LESS then someone else will have to pay MORE. Why should people making LESS have to pay MORE so that the wealthy can pay LESS? Don't come back with this "Because they are succcessful malarkey" the people making LESS are doing their work, that makes THEM successful. Shall we tax more items to get the extra revenue? Do we tax all services? Dr. visits? Legal fees? you name it, do we tax everything to make up the differences. the wealthy will ALWAYS have to pay more, that's the fact of life, and bellyaching about "why" they have to will get nowhere. Bush should NEVER of given those tax breaks to people making over 250,000, and then get us involved in a war. He is a moron.

AND they OWN 75% of all the wealth in the United States! Just what more do they want?

We also have no kids but our tax cut would be 500 or so with Obama and 25 with McCain.

Or, as Obama said; it's neighborly to redistribute. Naturally he didn't say redistribute as he is the sophisticated king of nuance, but he did say it's the neighborly thing to do.

Really? No, they will just charge more for their services. Businesses continue to charge more for services and items whether or not they are being taxed more. Why is it that the Bush Administration gave big breaks to the wealthy, and they STILL cut jobs, sent jobs overseas, and laid off workers? HMM? After all they got to keep MORE of their money?

No, if it stays with the people who earn it, it's not redistribution

In large part, it is the abortion issue.
