Where do they differ?

McCain says that he has fought his party on so many issues, yet I fail to see where his stand on the issues differ from that of George Bush or any of the other Republicans.
Change is not the status quo. Change is something that differs from the status quote.
You cannot be a change candidate who favors the same thing. That is double talk, not straight talk.
McCain says that he is not Bush and that his adminstration would not be like Bush, but he supports Bush on all of the issues. It is unlikely that he will be different from Bush. More of the same. No change at all.

And where has Obama ever disagreed with his party line?
McCain championed campaign finance reform - oh wait, Obama opted out of that...
McCain bucked his party on immigration reform.
Where has Obama ever failed to toe the party line?
((And where has Obama ever disagreed with his party line?))
Barack took on both the congress and Bush43 when he said that we should NOT fight an unnecessary war. He saw that Iraq was wrong!!! Barack said no more money from lobbyists. He's the real maverick!
McCain voted for the war. McCain voted to send more troops into the wrong war. McCain voted against giving our Veterans better benefits. McCain crumbled under the GOP's pressure to pick a conservative like Palin. So, McCain is the puppet. Just like Bush43.
~McCain says that he has fought his party on so many issues, yet I fail to see where his stand on the issues differ from that of George Bush or any of the other Republicans.~
They differ a bit, such as re: the environment.
Right... like when he voted against FISA?
((Right... like when he voted against FISA? Oh wait, he voted for it, after talking against it... No money from lobbyists? Like the money he raised from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and Lehman Bros...)))
lol. The way that McCain is running AGAINST his OWN party and it's core beliefs? You are really believing the hype? lol. Please look up the word lobbyist and compare and contrast that with private citizen. So, private citizens that happen to work for big companies are smart enough to know that Barack has ideas that will make America strong while...McCain will get us into a nuclear war. Of course they will give more money to Barack...he's got the plan and McCain does not.
